[MoF] - October Report 1: Introductory Stats

Hello and welcome to my first financial report as the MoF. Above all else during my term I want to be transparent and let everyone know what is going on, how we are doing and what our financial situation is.

If there is anything you want to know, please, just send me a message. I will happily reply and discuss anything you want to know or anything that is worrying you.

Without further ado, here are the stats for the very start of Talon’s term. It will be much more interesting in about eight days or so.

The current standings:

When there are changes I will be explaining them underneath. You will be able to see clearly where all our profit comes from and where it is going.

Not on that sheet is a £215k investment into a player last term. This citizen was moved to Poland to gain maximum profit from the companies. This is not included because currently all profit from the Saltpeters (That is where the £215k went) is going towards more Saltpeters to further increase production. These companies belong to the government and always will unless bought out. The amount gained from them last month was about £40k.

Please, tell me what else you would like to see.

Something I didn't put in the article: If anyone is good with graphics and could come up with a better way to display the data than I currently use please let me know! It needs to be easy enough for me to edit for the next report 😃

What I like is the statement - during my term I want to be transparent. So the rest of us can see right through you? Just the vagaries of the English language, you think you are saying one thing but there's always another meaning hidden .

Very good article. As has been said, good to see a breakdown of the finances, but would be nice to see a breakdown of income and expenditure - where from and where to - rather than just a bald statement of this is what came in and this is what went out.

This is effectively an article of Day 0. I can't tell you about any money coming in or money going out because there has been no time. I took over as MoF and published this article. Give me some time for things to actually happen 😃
