[MoF] National Budget

Day 1,518, 04:54 Published in India Greece by Jack Lantos

The Ministry of Finance team under CP Exibot hereby publish the national budget for this term (Jan 05 - Feb 05).

We have designed this budget with a strategic mixture of essential services, growth initiatives, and support programs.

The NDA program is the official supply point for weapons and food going to strengthen and build up our soldiers for home defence and to back up our allies.

We are fortunate to have energetic teams dedicated to player retention, and spicing up our media and culture with article competitions and rewards. New players will be actively welcomed and our aim is to enhance their experience, and the more who decide to stay, the stronger our nation will be in the future in all areas.

Our ambassador program recognises the essential contribution of our foreign affairs representatives in this game, promoting our nation on the international stage, and providing an alternate opportunity for new players to sign up for something and help out, and as well as increase their reputation and networks.

We endeaver to promote sensible investments and empower company builders with increased income, by continuing the loan service. This service has a positive return on investment from interest, and also improves overall market activity.

We have allocated funding for 13 MPP renewals.

The budget returns a positive balance as insurance against unpredictable expenses, and to increase the financial security and opportunities of future governments.

Further clarification in response to comments
Actual spending is being tracked in full detail by individual departments responsible; no movement of state funds or assets goes unrecorded. By the end of the term the Ministry of Finance will review all actual spending against budgeted amounts. Programs costing less than the amounts budgeted will allow the excess funds to grow the reserves and improve loan availability (which is becoming more popular).

All programs proposed in the cabinet forums underwent feasibility review to determine if the proposed amount should be increased or decreased, in view of their relative cost/benefit ratios and potential for expansion (which is the case for the NDA program).

For more details on state assets carried over from previous terms, dMoF Kismu is currently reviewing our assets for an upcoming report.
