Hello,
today I’m going to publish a bit longer article. There’s several things I’d like to present. In the recenet events we have lost huge amount of money and we got ourselves into a debt. The full report has been sent to congress several days ago, but it wasn’t published in public as usual due to our safety. Tradition of publishing reports is going to be restored as soon as possible, most probably next month.
There are three things which are going to be discussed here today, each one of them is made to make eIreland get back on its foot. We’re too vulnerable right now to stay in this position for a long time and I truly hope that we’re going to get back from this state together, as one. The robbery, two Coups and many more things has turned our main strenght (money) into our main weakness. The goal of each and every Government from now on should be to restore or money as soon as possible using all the possible ways. That’s the point of Ministry of Finances in the first place.
ORG RENTING PROJECT
eIreland is starting to rent orgs to eIrish citizens. The requirement for investors is to have place a deposit of 10 000 IEP in the state funds which is going to be a way for eIreland to secure for cases of banned org. This money is only going to be taken if the org gets banned while investor has the control of it. The monthly rent for an org is going to be 7 500 IEP which isn’t that much. We know there’s not many people in Ireland who knows what to do with org, so that’s the reason for a lower rent. We would like to encourage everyone who has over 30 000 IEP on its account to join this project. You can make money and make eIreland richer in the same time. Ministry of Finances is willing to have a meeting with every potential investor and I’m going to teach you and tell you how to use the org. There’s many ways to make the money and it would be pity to waste this chance. I’ll be availiable on IRC for instructions and tutoral each night after 14 erep time and I’m always open to join IRC or use ingame PM’s for any advices you’re might going to have.
Starting deposit: 10000 IEP
Monthly rent: 7500 IEP
If you’re interested to rent an org all you need to do is send me a message in which you should state:
1. How much money are you going to invest
2. Do you need help in playing with org
After sending the message please wait for my response, not everyone are going to be eligible to recieve the org, Government is going to check each individual willing to take the org. The new players (3-4 months old) aren’t going to be eligible. After this we’re going to sign a contract with you.
The contracts are going to be renewed in the beginning of every term due to change of a President and a potential change of their economy policies. If you rent the org now (it’s not beginning of a term) the cost of rent is going to be propositionally counted.
DONATIONS WEEK
Since all the Irish citizens knows about our current financial situation, we wanted to call for help. We wanted to give a chance to every Irish citizen to do a patriotic act and help its country when the country needs it the most. Until we return to the pre-robbery state of finances we’re going to struggle, we’re not going to be able to have fun, because it’s the money which buys fun here. It’s the interest of every Irish citizens to make eIreland richer. That’s the reason we’re opening a donation week. We have had months of lowest taxes in the world, free weapons, many wars, but unfortunatly we can’t afford this anymore. Not without you.
Each donation is going to be published with a “Thank you” article next week. Top 3 donators are going to recieve a title of Knights of Ireland and each donator is going to be part of the Irish future which is going to be much more brighter if we do this right. I urge you to share the article, to call your friends, to ask people to donate. Organise yourself through your party, your MU and let’s make this done. If we gather 500 000 IEP we’re going to be able to make much more in coming days. Ireland needs its fighters, its patriots, Ireland needs YOU now.

3. TAXES
Due to our current position we’re going to raise our taxes and a minimum wage. The combination of this two things is going to make our progress faster, we’re going to be quicker on reaching our goal, which is having our main strenght - money back. This is going to make the Irish producers make less money, but after years of being in the best possible position to make the money it’s time to return the favour to the country. The richest of us are going to contribute the most and I don’t believe anyone will complain. This financial policy is going to last only until we recieve respectful amount of money much needed to get back on track, after that we’re going to have lower taxes again.
The taxes which are going to change are:
Work tax - 3%
Weapons VAT - 3%
Food VAT - 3%
Moving tickets VAT - 35%
Houses VAT - 5%
Minimum wage - 50 IEP

All good except the minimum wage thing. It's going to wipe out MU communities.
Our MU's aren't working like that, we've established pretty good system for the MU's which saves us tons of money monthly, that's the reason of this change :3

There are still MUs here that use communes that collectively oppose this. o.O
Lower minimum wage and org rent, increase org deposit value.
Higher org deposit value would leave the investors without the money to "play" with.
7500 is not much if you have enough to play with. You can easily make it in 10/30 days.
Minimum wage is crucial in this combination.
Explain yourself, I'd like to hear your reasons though.
Firstly currently highest wage on job market in eIre is 44 IEP. If minimum wage is 50 IEP no1 will work since it is not profitable even with this low work tax to pay over current salary.
Secondly gamble 10k cc deposit for an opportunity to launder money via org is great deal for certain individuals and terrible risk for state orgs.
Thirdly 7500/month is way too much rent and i doubt people will take that deal into consideration. Lets not forget to mention that after great robbery of all the money from the orgs investing in them can seem risky to potential investors.
Well if you can make 20000 IEP with paying 7500 IEP to have the chance to make it, I doubt someone would reject it.
Only the trustworthy people are going to be able to have the org, so taking more than 10000 from them would seem too much if you ask me.
People will always work, producers are going to need workers since it's needed.
Even if this doesn't work, we can always lower the minimum wage and raise the work tax. But for now, we need a strong amount of money and we need it fast, that's why it's radically high.
People will always work but they can work outside of eIre and eIrish poducers will rather stop the working process than lose money.
Ireland is desperate, if it's doing this...

Irish MU's aren't working in the communes, so no one will get killed.
That's a first. MU communes were a big thing when I was here.

Why was not Congress informed of your tax plans first...we are supposed to be the ones agreeing/setting them
the Minimum wage should not change you proposing to do so without any discussion with Congress is crazy.
If the Commune system is destroyed you will kill one of the last reasons many play this game.

Minimum wage is voted NO due to constructive critics. By the way contact me so I could explain you how to leave commune work for more weps and profit.
And actually, dunno if you knew, but financial policy of taxes is something a Government makes decision of. Regardless, we are open to any contructive ideas you have, so pls bring it on. What taxes would you like to have and why?

Tax changes are the job of Congress not the CP or Gov and you know this. You propose we decide.

7500 is a bit expensive i am going to pass on that . i would be willing to run an org for the pure sake of ireland with no monetary gain for myself. perhaps a donations org.

Ministers who are proposing changes in policy should be members of both threads. They should present their policy in both threads and read the responses in both threads. Congress is the body which has responsibility for approving changes in tax rates and minimum wage, not government.
