Hello Nigerians!
Here is information about a couple of laws related to economic module. It is a brief overview to keep us safe in our knowledge about the game and how best to manage the resources of eNigeria.
Issue money
Issue money allows congress members to propose a value of local currency that, if voted, will enter into the country accounts. Printing money has a Gold fee which is a fighting measure against puppet administrations who print huge amounts of money to destroy economies from the inside.
If a country wants to issue money it has to pay a tax in gold. The tax is calculated with the rate of 1 national currency = 0.005 Gold. For example: if the country wants to issue 10.000 currency the tax will be 50 GOLD.
The information about this tax is available in the page: "In order to print national currency, an amount of Gold will be removed from the country account. The rate is 1 (national currency) printed = 0.005 Gold."
If the law for donating national currency is rejected, the tax amount in gold which was deducted is returned to the country's account.
Recent Changes
In order to reactive this feature, in desuse due to its disadvantaged condition against the profits achieved by the users and state organizations in the monetary market, recent changes involving this law was made in Day 2.362:
- Gold was removed as an option from the Donate law in Country Administration page.
- Players are now able to donate Gold on the country’s Economy page. Citizen has to be level 25 or higher to be able to donate gold to Country Treasury, with a minimum requested amount of 1 Gold.

A Congress member can propose a law to give money to an organization from the country accounts.
On the Donate page in country administration the Member of Congress has the next form:
- input organization name;
- input amount (maximum amount of 400.000 currency);
- input debate link.
When the law is proposed, the currency is removed from the country account.
If the organization does not exist, the Member of Congress will see the following message: "The Organization that you are trying to donate money does not exist."
If the law is voted and accepted than the organization will receive the proposed amount of money (and an alert). If the law is rejected, the currency is added back to the country accounts.
