Today, you're going to learn how to fight.

Before you get into a battle, it is most desirable to join a Military Unit (MU). Entrance is free for all. A Military Unit enables you to experience the military module in its full glory.

To join a MU, select Community from the top bar and then select My Military unit. This message will be displayed. It is advised to join the Royal Navy MU first because it is the country's biggest MU.


When you join a MU, this message will be displayed. To become a full member of the MU you need to pass Recruit's Orders as displayed on the image.


To fight, select Wars from the top menu and then select the battle you want to fight in. When you do, this will be displayed. The top bar displays the current state of the battle; how much influence one side has over the other. The numbers on it are needed because when a side reaches 1800 domination points, the automatically win that battle. To fight, simply press the Fight button. Your damage in fighting does not depend on the amount of health you have and it is always the same. Damage solely depends on your strength, military rankings and weapons. Your opponent is "imaginary" and when you fight, their health is not reduced but only your and 10 Health per beat. However, for one opponent you maybe need more beats, which is done automatically (all pieces are shown as one) so it is possible that you suddenly experience a dissapearance of 10-50 health. The opponent in the fight gets in automatically and when assigned you can't choose a new one. You always get the opponents most similar to you by force.


If you click the small button on top of the screen called Campaign Details, you will see this. It shows you how much points both sides have. There are 94 points needed to win a campaign. If you want to learn more about it, click the More info button there.


When you fight, this will pop up. It shows how much influence you added to your side.


Fighting is very important because not only do you contribute to your country's success, you also gain a lot of experience points and get a bigger military rank which gives you extra rewards.

You can enhance your fighting by buying weapons which help you gain more damage in the fight in less time. But that's another article.
