[MoD] How To: CH | Wie funktioniert ein CH?

Day 1,591, 10:30 Published in Germany Germany by Bundeswehr

If you don’t know anything about irc you might want to read this guide first.

Every once in awhile there’s this neat little thing called CH (short version of Common Hit), where we - the germark government- supply every citizen with weapons to fight a common target. Usually the MoD-Team (Ministry of Defense) will announce these events via the “Wehrverwaltung”.

The only thing you have to do to take part in these events, is to join the rizon irc-channel #ger.forces at the designated time and follow the instructions which are posted there. After joining this channel you might also want to join the channel #ger.supply, but beware that this channel is “special”.

We use this channel to supply our soldiers or foreign mercenaries - no lurking, idling, spamming etc allowed - therefore we set the parameters +m (moderated channel - only people with voice or higher can post) and +i (invite only - if there is no ch you can’t join). Lhasas wonderful Bot SUPPLiER resides in this channel, if you join he will welcome you with the following message: “o> Your_Name, please leave your link and ff”. Now comes the tricky part: you have to post your citizenlink (http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/xxxxxx) and your ff aka foodfights.

Your foodfights consist of the sum of your current wellness and your recoverable wellness divided by ten. For example: You currently have 100 Wellness and you are able to recover 400 more, which means you have a total of 500 Wellness - divided by ten you’ll get 50 foodfights. According to our example above, you would post the following message in #ger.supply:

"http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1686777 50ff".

You have to stick to this Syntax, if you do so you will receive the following message:

"Yourname added to supplylist with id (your id) & 50 fights"

If you don’t receive this message you won’t get any weapons since our supply-bot won’t recognize your post! So remember: post your profilelink + your available foodfights (without space after the decimal!) and you will receive weapons to fight. If you made some sort of mistake you will receive the following message:

"yourname, syntax: (ex: http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/xxxxxxx 65ff)"

When the Ministry of Defense starts to supply and got your request done, you will receive the following message:

"yourname done! wait for orders @ #ger.forces"

tl;dr: follow the instructions of the bot and always post your weapon-requests in the following format: http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/xxxxxxx 50ff (no space after the decimal!)

After you have received your weapons you just need to follow the orders posted in #ger.forces. Orders are usually posted with the help of another irc-bot: this bot will highlight every user in #ger.forces and post the instructions of a MoD-Member afterwards.

The actual orders can vary, but usually you either do all of your damage at once or you get the order to e.g. "Division 2: make two kills here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield/29924". If this order occurs you only hit if you are member of division 2 and till you have "killed" two enemies - no more and no less.

You dont know anything about divisions? Just read below:
Level 1 - 24 = Division 1
Level 25 - 29 = Division 2
Level 30 - 36 = Division 3
Level 37+ = Division 4

You will be noticed if the CH is over, there might also be a Damagesheet through which we can track your damage if you’re willing to fill it out. The data of this sheet is used to create stats which are posted in the “Wehrverwaltung” and sometimes the different Military Units receive money depending on the data we gathered through this sheet.

Dos und Don’ts

Dos:

- have fun
- hit with other germark citizens
- request weapons
- fill out the damage sheet

Dont’s:

- spamming the supply-channel
- shitposting in ger.forces (this is basically for all experienced players who actually know how a CH works but still think it’s funny to post basic questions like “what are ff’s?")
- requesting supplies two times in a row (don’t even try to fool us, we will probably know it and you’ll never receive stuff again)
- never qry or highlight a Member of the MoD while the CH is in progress, they are busy so don’t bother them with (stupid) questions you can easily ask afterwards

"http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1686777 50ff"

"Yourname added to supplylist with id (your id) & 50 fights"

"yourname done! wait for orders @ #ger.forces"

Beispielsweis:

"Division 2: make two kills here: http://www.erepublik.com/en/military/battlefield/29924"

Was darf Ichund was nicht?

Du darfst:

- Spaß haben
- mit anderen Mitbürgern zusammen Germark unterstützen
- Waffen erhalten

- Zweimal hintereinander Waffen beantragen
- Deutsche Links posten
