Hello, eJapan !

It`s a 2nd sunday of April, which means - Kamakura festival is starting and it will last for a whole week !

~ Here is the event info :

- Place: Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine

- Dates: Second Sunday - Third Sunday of April

~ Dates and functions are subjects to change without notice. Be sure to check the latest information in advance.

- City: Yukinoshita, Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture









As suggested, in comments of previous article [ link ], April is the Anniversary month for Empress day, and we believe organizing special event in that honor would be great. So, in order for the event to be organized in best possible way, we need a consultant ready to lead the project, providing necessary guidelines. If there are people interested, feel free to contact us !

~ In case there are no volunteers, the mentioned Anniversary probably won`t be held.

~ Rules are simple :

> Get out there.

> Take your camera ( regular or cell phone ).

> Find cherry tree.

> Make best photo of a branch with flowers you find perfect ! [ example pic ]

> Send only 1 picture.

Note : Resolution of an image is not essential.

- Send raw, unedited or manipulated ( photoshoped or by any other image editor ) picture.

- Don`t send picture found on web.

~ Contest is opened for citizens of eJapan and eWorld, and will last for a week starting tomorrow. ( 13th - 20th of April )

~ REWARDS :

1st prize - 5 gold

2nd prize - 3 gold

3rd prize - 1 gold

- If you wish to increase the rewards, send donations to reikangfx or Watan Tanka ( profile links bellow ). The list of donators and amount will be made and added just bellow this article.
