National Foundation Day in RL Japan is the celebration of the foundation of Japan and the first Emperor Jimmu, it is held annually on February 11th, and is considered one of the 4 main holidays in the nation. Traditional flag festivals and parades are held, a well known one being the float parade in the compound of Meiji shrine where people carry a miniature temple with their national flag, all decorated with ornaments as they carry it on their shoulders.

However for eJapan, our first Emperor Kokawayoshi Makoto rose to his position when the first eJapanese constitution, which included the Emperor position, was passed on September 1st, 2009. Which brings us to our very own National Foundation Day in September, and we have two events planned, a parade of our own, and a very short giveaway. Take part in both and you will receive some food and possibly a 2000 JPY prize!

The main event will be the parade, and the only real way to do that is a parade of patriotic newspaper articles. Write about our history, our recent victories, the different eras, just write a patriotic article about eJapan, the article receiving the most votes, will win a 2000 JPY prize.

For the short giveaway, its a simple two question survey about whom you would support for Emperor if a vote was ever brought up. I doubt a vote will happen any time soon, but for the fun of it, lets see who tops the Emperor Leader board. Completing the two question survey will lead you to getting a donation of five Q5 food products. Survey will be open till the end of the event. Link to survey just below...

2) Any use of the voters club will lead to a re-vote in the national forums and disqualification.
3) Legitimate votes will count through the entire event, even if the article is passed its 2 day limit in the top 5.
4) The Minister of Culture and History reserves the right to change these rules at any time. The MoCH also reserves the right to disqualify entries if rules are broken or if any questionable matters arise.
