[MoC] The Renovation of the Wiki

Day 908, 07:06 Published in Austria United Kingdom by Thomas765

Hello,
The Ministry of Culture is a government ministry looking to do the following:

~ update and make sure the wiki for eAustria is of an exceptional standard for citizens all over the new world can see it.
~ set a good example for other nations to see when they enter the Austrian wiki page on the eRepublik wiki.
~ provide a national archive of information from the past so citizens of the future can have easy access to events of the past.
~ set national cultural events and holidays.
~ provide quick and easy information for those who need it.

The main thing that the Ministry of Culture is doing at the present moment is the renovation of eRepublik wiki.

Before Rangeley was elected as president, the pages that had something to do with Austria were poorly organised and lacked much information - this was due to the information on there being quite old. Even now, after we've renovated it drastically there is still a lot of work left to be done including a lot of history to be added. History is the main thing that needs to be done in the wiki.

Austria Wiki Page:
~ Change the introduction to include more recent information.
~ Regularly update the Austrian profile section to include more up-to-date information.
~ Regularly update other sections including regions, population and society to include more up-to-date information.

History of Austria Timeline:
~ Add older history to archive it all instead of losing it.
~ Recover some lost history which includes the names of the second and third presidents (If anyone has any information on these two presidents, then please do contact either me or Oraizan)
~ Update the timeline as soon as something major happens in order to archive it.
~ Upload as much history as possible.

History of Austria:
~ Add more recent history.
~ A lot needs to be done.

Austria Wiki Page:
~ Sorted out the politics section so that it is more organised.
~ Removed a large section of the introduction that is irrelevant. Most of these had something to do with geography so that part of the introduction was moved there.
~ Changed some of the statistics to be more up-to-date.
~ Changed information in regions and population to be more relevant with Austria and more recent.

Austrian History Timeline:
~ Created this page as an alternative to History of Austria which contains detailed information while the timeline gives the reader a more brief outline of what is said in History of Austria.
~ Added several events, mainly between Day 700 to Day 908 due these dates being more recent.
