[MoC] Resignation

Day 2,701, 06:57 Published in Ireland Ireland by The Irish Community

Greetings Ireland,

I'd like to officially state my resignation. I will continue to run the Eurovision Ireland 2015 as a number of nations are interested and I now have a responsibility to see it through. I will request permission from the next MoC to use this org for publications of the contest.

I do believe things could've turned out differently. I know for a fact had kuthesh been elected a few months ago things would've gone much smoother. But he's handled the pressure and criticism irresponsibly and most importantly, he's let a thief and traitor to the community back in, Daniel Plainview aka Lord.Beorn. After I warned him privately about DP's history here, this is entirely unacceptable.

I publicly apologize for supporting kuth. There are many foreign players who don't understand the way we run our orgs, but they have been much more mature in handling pressure as a result. This was an utter mess.

I do feel a bit disappointed in much of the community. I applied for MoC for both Inept and Kuthesh. Do I like everyone here? NO. That goes unsaid. But I had the free time to be highly active, and put forward the effort to be even more active than the last time which was impressive enough. Unfortunately party politics took a role and many of my articles were ignored and attacked. I don't expect much more from the community these days anymore but I won't continue wasting what time I have on people who won't appreciate it.

The events for the term are canceled. Very low participation takes the fun out of it. As I said, I will ask permission from the next MoC to continue publishing the Eurovision 2015 contest. If not, I will continue it with my personal newspaper.
