Op ons coaching kanaal op de IRC (#coachingNL) krijgen we regelmatig vragen over de militaire module. Waarom moet je lid worden van een MU? Waarom is het belangrijk je Daily Order te halen? Hoe zit het nou met experience points, rank points, strength points en divisies? Het Ministerie van Coaching heeft hier 3 artikelen over geschreven. Dit eerste artikel gaat over de voordelen van lid zijn van een Militaire Unit (MU).



Als beginnende speler is het verstandig je zo snel mogelijk aan te melden bij een MU. Aanmelden bij een MU kun je alleen doen in het land waar je ingame burgerschap van hebt (waarschijnlijk Nederland dus). In Nederland zijn er, naast enkele private MU’s waar de overheid niet over gaat, 3 staats MU’s:

eNL Army: divisie 1 en 2 (beginnende spelers tot level 29)
eNL Navy: divisie 3 (level 30-36)
eNL Airforce: divisie 4 (level 37 en hoger)

Daily Order (bazooka’s en energy bars)
Alleen als je lid bent van een MU, krijg je ingame een Daily Order te zien. Heb je 25 kills gemaakt voor de DO, dan krijg je de onderdelen om een bazooka in elkaar te zetten plus een energy bar. Met een bazooka doe je 10.000 damage per hit, en kun je 3 keer hitten. Bazooka’s kun je opsparen om BH medals te halen (2 goud in div 1, 3 goud in div 2). In het begin kun je je bazooka’s en energy bars echter beter opsparen of gebruiken om de volgende DO te halen, omdat je kansen op een BH medal erg klein zijn.

Damage doen waar het telt
Doordat alle leden van jouw MU vechten voor de Daily Order, kun je je gezamenlijke damage gericht inzetten. De DO wordt ingesteld door je MU commander of captain in overleg met het military command van onze alliantie EDEN. Wij vechten voor onze bondgenoten en zij vechten voor ons. Zo zetten al onze bondgenoten hun mankrachten in in dezelfde battles om de vijand(en) zo veel mogelijk schade toebrengen.

Weten met wie je strijdt
Een andere belangrijke reden om je aan te sluiten bij een MU: je krijgt ingame een nieuwe tab te zien in de shouts. Je leert andere spelers kennen die op hetzelfde level zitten als jij (en dus waarschijnlijk dezelfde vragen hebben). Je commander en captain posten daar belangrijke informatie en geven tips, je kunt daar je vragen stellen en leren van de vragen van anderen. Dat kan natuurlijk ook op het IRC kanaal #nl-army waar je altijd de actuele battle orders kunt volgen.

Vechten met goede wapens
Alle burgers van eNederland kunnen in de commune van NL army komen werken voor een salaris van 5 NLG, plus 4 Q7 en 4 Q6 wapens per dag. Het doel van de commune is om iedereen met goede wapens te laten vechten zodat je zo vaak mogelijk je DO kunt halen. Voor beginnende spelers zijn deze wapens erg duur, waardoor je misschien geneigd bent te vechten met Q1, Q2 of Q3 wapens. Waarom het vechten met lage Q wapens in je nadeel werkt, laten we zien in het volgende artikel.

Je kunt je aanmelden voor de staatscommune door een pm te sturen naar Dave Brinkman (minister van defensie).

N.B. Sommige MU’s geven zelf wapens aan leden die werken in hun commune, maar daar heeft de overheid geen invloed op.



MASTERCLASS BIJ VOLDOENDE BELANGSTELLING

Bij voldoende aanmeldingen organiseert het Ministerie van Coaching een masterclass op de IRC over dit onderwerp, waarin je door kunt vragen over dingen die je niet helemaal duidelijk zijn. Stuur ons dus een ingame pm als je belangstelling hebt!



Het Ministerie van Coaching is er om jou als nieuwe speler snel vooruit helpen in het spel en je de game mechanics beter te leren begrijpen. Heb je vragen? Een aantal nuttige tips:

In our coaching channel on the IRC (#coachingNL), we regularly receive questions about the military module. Why should you join an MU? Why is it important to do your DO (Daily Order)? What exactly is the deal with experience points, rank points, strength points and divisions? The Ministry of Coaching wrote three articles about it. This first article will address the benefits of being a member of a Military Unit (MU).



As a starting player the smart thing to do is join a MU as soon as possible. You can only join an MU in the country you have citizenship of. Most likely to be the eNetherlands. In the eNetherlands we have (besides a few private MU’s the State does not control, 3 State MU’s:

eNL Army: division 1 and 2 (starting players up to level 29)
eNL Navy: division 3 (level 30-36)
eNL Airforce: division 4 (level 37 en hoger)

Daily Order (bazooka’s and energy bars)
Only if you are a member of an MU, you will see a Daily Order ingame. After 25 kills for the DO, you receive the parts to build a bazooka plus an energy bar. With a bazooka you do 10.000 damage per hit, and you can hit 3 times. You can save up your bazooka’s to hunt for Battle Hero medals (2 gold in div 1, 3 gold in div 2). In the beginning, however, you’d batter save up your bazooka’s en energy bars or use them for your next DO, as your chances of winning a BH medal are quite slim.

Do damage where it matters
Because all members in your MU fight for the Daily Order, you can focus your joint damage. The DO is set by your MU commander or captain, in accordance with the military command of our alliance EDEN. We fight for our allies and they fight for us. This way, all of our allies put their firepower to use in the same battles to do as much damage as possible to the enemy .

Know who you are fighting with
One other important reason to join an MU: ingame a new tab will show up in the shouts. You get to meet other players at the same level you are (likely to have the same questions). Your commander and captain will post important information and give you tips, you can ask questions and learn from other people’s questions. Of course you can also do that in the IRC channel #nl-army where the latest battle orders are given.

Fighting with decent weapons
All citizens of the eNetherlands can come work in the commune of NL army for a salary of 5 NLG, plus 4 Q7 and 4 Q6 weapons a day. The goal of the commune is to enable everyone to fight with high Q weapons and do your DO as often as possible.
For starting players these weapons are very expensive, which makes it tempting to fight with Q1, Q2 or Q3 weapons. Why fighting with low Q weapons works to your disadvantage, we will show in the next article.

You can apply for the State commune by sending a pm to Dave Brinkman (Minister of defense).

N.B. Some private MU’s provide weapons to their members for working in their own commune, however the government does not control this.
