[MoC] IRC, Forums, Website, and Community Awards Nominees!

Day 1,876, 10:51 Published in Ireland Ireland by Damhnaic

Dear Citizens of eIreland,

Before we go on with the community awards, a few messages.

1. IRC
2. Forum
3. Website
4. Community Awards

1. IRC

As you may know, fellow citizens decided to create a new official IRC channel for the country. Now, instead of being #Ireland, it would become #eire (Which is both Eire (Ireland in irish) and eIre (eIreland contraction)). The given reason was the poor management and low moderation of the old channel. It will be a pleasure seeing you in the new channel!

Click here for a direct link to the #eire channel on Mibbit.

2. FORUMS

You might have heard of it, we have a wonderful new eIrish National Forum since the old one was long forsaken. In this new forum, there are subforums for every of the political parties and military units, as well as a subforum for the congress and the usual general chat subforums. You can access the Public Dáil to ask questions to your congressmen and congresswomen, or discuss national, economical, foreign and military affairs! Finaly, you can also think of something else than eRepublik in the non-eRep subforums. We hope you'll register to rejoin us on this fantastic tool for discussion with fellow community members!

4. COMMUNITY AWARDS

Finally but not least, the eIrish Community Awards nominees! For each of the awards, we have four (4) nominees. Over the next 48h, we will have a voting period. You need to vote for one player in each of the categories. The player with the highest vote will win the award and the prize that goes with it.

First notice.
Due to irregularities in the last voting system (the Google form one), we will now proceed by in game private messages to ensure every one vote regularly. There were some people that voted as other people (I know who you are). This method will ensure we have less attempts at cheating the awards. I am very ashamed that some eIrish citizens have tried to cheat on such a noble thing that are the Community Awards because they wanted recognition. This will only give them less to my eyes.

Second notice.
In the following nominees, you will notice The Psych0 (MUFC92) and Nataliia from Galicia. Even if they left the eIrish community, these awards are concerning the month of December 2012, thus they are still eligible, but won't be for next awards.

Third notice.
Following a complaint from the concerned player who, in the past months, was complaining to have his own award but now refuses it, the Kurgan of the Month award has been removed from this and further Community Awards.
