Join the new world

Wow....I can’t believe it’s been a year since I started playing this crazy game and joined this community...but it has been! I wanted to just take a moment to reminisce a little bit on this year, where I’ve been in the game, and where I plan to go from here.

On May 1st, 2012, I saw an ad for a game where I could join my country in a virtual world and fight epic battles around the world. Coming from a RL military background, this sounded awesome to me and I jumped right in! Boy did they get me...the military module is broken and there hasn’t been a whole lot of serious action in the eUSA for a while. On top of this, the economic module is broken, the only thing that does work is the community in this game. And that is why I am still around here today!

Within my first couple days blundering around this game, spending all my gold on useless crap like refilling my energy and trying to figure out how to make some money, I was messaged by a guy named David Wilson. He introduced me to the American Military Party and got me started on the road i’m on today. Not long after that another player took me under his wing, a man by the name Roper70. He got me started in the military module, and it wasn’t long before I was serving under him as an XO of Boot Camp. Since then I’ve been all over the place. I’ve spent time in Party Leadership, Country Leadership, and Military Leadership. By far the most enjoyable times I’ve had were working with new players, both in the Department of Education, and as a Boot Camp Instructor.

Also, as a point of personal pride, I never once missed a day of work/training in this last year since I starte😛



In closing, I just wanted to briefly state where I plan to go from here....I got burnt out a couple months ago when I was trying to stay busy in the executive, party, and military. So I took a brief hiatus and now i’m back! Like I said earlier, the most fun I’ve had in this game is helping new players learn the ropes. So I plan on doing that even more now, and getting them hooked up with a community, because that is what kept me playing and enjoying this game. I will be doing this primarily through a new Military Unit that has been in the planning for quite some time now. The main purpose of our unit, which we have named SWAT, is to get new and inexperienced players connected with a community to keep them involved and active in the game. Be looking forward to hearing more about this in the near future!
