[ITA MoFA] Renewal of the Alpine Treaty

Greetings to the citizens of eItaly and eSwitzerland. Today I am happy to announce that after a meeting between the officials of our countries we have agreed to confirm again the Alpine Treaty as a further proof of the friendship that have shaped the bonds between our countries.

The eItalian and eSwiss governments have reached the conclusion that we have to strengthen the bilateral relationships and we need to improve cooperation in various fields like cultural exchanges, ATO help and better military coordination.



The Alpine Treaty

The eSwiss Confederation and the eItalian Republic;

• Encourage cooperation and friendship between the two nations;

• Strive to establish a stable situation in both territories;

• Have adopted the following treaty:

Article I

a) Both the nations shall not engage in any military activity against each other;

b) In the case of a Resistance War, military engagements toward one another will not be permitted;

c) In the case of a Training War, military engagements toward one another will be permitted.

Article II

a) Both the eSwiss Confederation and the eItalian Republic will increase economic exchanges outside of the traditional market, supporting sales of food and weapons between the two nations.

Article III

a) Both the eSwiss Confederation and the eItalian Republic will hold bi-monthly meetings between both governments to ensure an updated understand of the situations of both nations.
