[IA] Our support for president
United SA's Oceanus and Gold Party's Enoch Root have both announced their intention to run for the top job in eSouth Africa: Ines' man candy. Oh wait, sorry, president. Same thing really.
Jokes aside, Independent Alternative has had a discussion on its forum and has come to the conclusion to support Enoch Root for president.
It was a difficult decision to make since most people sit on the fence on this issue. This is testament to the fact that Oceanus is an equally strong contender for the presidential seat. We are happy to see that Oceanus will be Enoch's vice president if Enoch wins and vice versa.
In the end, the decision came down to experience, visibility and our own experience with working with the two contenders.
The feelings were split between whether to support a more economically-focused president or a more diplomacy-oriented one (no guessing which is which).
In the end, support leaned more strongly to the former.
Good luck to both the presidential candidates - there will be much joy and phuza'ing whoever wins.
