«How Plato celebrated Halloween 5 years ago»

Day 2,171, 12:44 Published in Greece Cyprus by George The Mercifull

It was a cold night in the city of ePlatonia. Children were wondering around, gathering candies in their spooky suits and grown-ups were discussing, eating or drinking as the families were reunited to celebrate together Halloween.

But one man couldn’t relax. He knew that evil is always alert and never rests so should he. This man was the mayor of the city, the well known, former ambassador of the new eworld, Plato.

It was around midnight when he heard it. A weird sound, like a scream but not a human one...He decided to follow the sound, trusting his ears so as to find out what is going on...

And then, silence...a deep, sudden silence. No matter how much he tried, he couldn’t hear a thing anymore. After 15 minutes of searching, he decided to return to his office but not a moment later, right out of his office door, he was at the sight of the most horrifying and disgusting thing in his entire life. A dead headless chicken, hanged from the ceiling and its head nowhere around.

Plato thought it may was a joke, a sick joke but still...a joke. He wanted to believe that but he never managed to find out if it was true, where the chicken’s head was and what really happened that night. The only thing I know is that since that Halloween, every year these days, at midnight he hears this weird and scary scream and then...silence.

So every year, for one week, during Halloween, he stays sleepless and restless at his office, waiting for the answer...waiting for salvation.
