[HN] eRepublik CEO Caught BSing in RL Media [AGAIN!]

Day 980, 10:47 Published in Canada USA by Sir Hypnotoad

In case you didn't notice this article, you should read it.

This article is a follow-up on that one; but concerning a different case of Mr. Alexis Bonte BSing in the RL media. Most of it will be copy/paste from Saltydog's article, because most of it still applies and I'm lazy.

This is it. This is our chance as a community (again!!!) to force the admins to fix all the bugs and broken parts of this game.

The CEO and Founder of eRepublik, Alexis Bonte, is looking for further venture capital funding to keep the lights on. Player retention is a huge problem for eRep, as is customer service. So what does Bonte have to say in the article?

Let's do some factchecking.

"We will keep listening to our citizens in order to evolve and provide them with the best game experience."
FALSE
This is an outright lie. None of the citizen's feelings have been addressed in V2. They hardly ever listen to us; and this was no exception.

"They have received the new version with enthusiasm and it is yet too early to know their reaction."
FALSE
WE HATE V2! Our reaction *could have* been observed on the first day, if the Admins cared enough to look and pay attention to their players opinions!

"We have given so much importance to players feedback and involvement because a game can only be as big and good as its community of players, that is what is making eRepublik so good."
FALSE
One simple look around this place will show you that they don't care about player opinions.

Okay. Here's what I want you all to do:

1. Forward this article around - we need to get the word out.

2. Write a constructive comment on the Free MMO Station Article

3. Rate the article 1 star.

The more truth we give to the real world, the more Alexis Bonte will get spanked in public, in full view of the watching media. CEO's don't like to be spanked - in fact getting caught with your pants down in public is the best time to make concessions.

Since no one listens to our tickets, to our open letters, to our forum posts, the only thing we have left is coercion by embarrassment. That's what you've left us, and that's what you'll get. The people who run the website have to approve comments before they can be publicly seen! That means they have to at least skim every comment! They can see how horrible the Admins are!

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT AFTER BONTE WAS SPANKED IN PUBLIC ON THE TechCrunch Article HE IS TRYING TO DO DAMAGE CONTROL BY LYING TO ANOTHER MEDIA SOURCE. DON'T LET HIM GET AWAY WITH THIS! SPANK HIM IN PUBLIC AGAIN UNTIL HE LISTENS!

P.S.: Admins, don't delete this article. That would be a shameful example of how unwilling you are to admit to your own mistakes.
