[Haliman4President]Updates on Foreign Policy!

Day 1,140, 16:13 Published in USA Canada by Haliman

A lot of you may have noticed something about the title of all of my previous articles. They all included the word new.

I believe that new ideas are needed at the top, and I feel my administration can get the job done. Unfortunately, old ideas are failing us.

PanAm, being a new idea, requires a new approach. My opponent, as well as the current administration have said they are both working tirelessly to get PanAm alive. If this is true, why have the Canadians voted down the charter with 17 nays, and 2 yays?

I went over to the Canadian forums, and asked for access to the area that they are discussing PAnAm. They accepted, no problem.

I am in constant communication with our current Secretary of State Krems, who has the most experience with the new PanAm treaty.

The main problem they cited was the lack of communication between our countries. I stand to rectify this, and am doing a fine job. Multiple congressmen who previously voted nay on the treaty have shown good will in the new discussions by saying they support this alliance now.

Everyone has repeatedly said that my foreign experience is lacking, and that Inwegen has me beat in that department.

My question to you, Inwegen, is why have you not gone to the Canadian forums, to discuss the treaty as I am?

Please feel free to answer me on IRC 🙂

They were more than willing to give me access to their forum, and embraced any discussion from our end.

I told myself I would keep this article nice and short, just to update the country on the status of PanAm. Expect one last article tomorrow wrapping up the campaign, and tying everything together!
