***From the Previous President to the Next, Support for Scrabman***
It's been a long while since I have actually felt the urge to write in the media. Right now I'm being thrust back into the political picture by an announcement from my long time friend Ian John Locke IV regarding the status of the AAP and his resignation as PP. As I re-enter the political world, not by my own choice, I must throw in my voice for this election, and I believe that my words will surprise many.
Times After my Impeachment
right before and for a short time after my impeachment, the country faced a bit of stagnation and a loss of leadership. This is not to look back at my performance, but rather to look at where the country went after I left office. Scrabman became President of the United States and right away took on the job with a plan and the action to keep the country moving in a positive direction. Politics were in a tough spot and there was much tension during those times, however Scrabman handled every situation with care and class. Now the USA has seen the return of war games and we are working effectively towards restoring economic balance.
To put it simply, Scrabman has been thrust into a position on short notice and has only made the country grow.
April 5th
There is no doubt in my mind that April 5th will be one of the most epic elections we've had in a long time, with the possibility of being closer than my bout with Justinious in January. Regardless, we have many contenders, however there is one in my eye that stands out over all others.
I Uncle Sam, Support Scrabman for Re-Election on April 5th
This may come as a surprise to everyone, but I must say that despite popular belief, I actually approve of Scrabman in office. The arguments between him and myself have always been political, and the rivalry we had was merely formed from the political decisions we were forced to make to benefit our careers and the country. Playing the political game is not easy, and you will undoubtedly piss some people off. Scrabman has proven he is able to handle the job gracefully and effectively.
Scrabman is a great facilitator of discussion and keeping people on topic and down to business. So far under his administration he has finished the signing on the Mexican treaty, brought us war games once again and has helped to organize the new economic policy of printing more money for a stable economy. Scrabman is very diplomatic in his policy, both at home and abroad. Even in times of disagreement, Scrab is very able to negotiate and work peacefully with those who opposed him. A respectable man who gets along well with congress is what we need after my shortcomings as President, and Scrabman has fulfilled this role.
With already being in office for a couple weeks, why not elect a man who already has experience with the job?
Support From the AAP
I will once again be the Party President of the AAP. This is a job that has been thrust upon me, and I will do my best from now up until the Party Elections to see that our party is run effectively. This beings me back into the political radar, and there are quite a few things that must be said as I take this position. First, the nomination that went to John Jay is a Party decision, and I shall not go against the manifesto. While that is the party issue, I still personally fully support Scrabman for President, and would ask that others look on his accomplishments in this short time as a sign to what else he can do for a month yet to come.
Vote Scrabman!
Finally to close, I would like to say that I am quite proud of Scrabman's performance thus far. Despite the political tension that there was between us, such things will not get in the way of progress, and seeing Scrabman run this country the way he has for the past week, makes me proud to say that I'm an American. Even though we had our issues with each other, I can still see the wonderful job he has been doing and it would be disrespectful for me to not support him.

1st!
Nicely said Sam.
Well done!
cue epic comment from John Jay attacking me
Nice, well thought out and informative without any hard feelings from your terms, Voted.
If you feel so negatively about this ("thrust" upon you) then I can hold it a bit longer, until you feel ready. If you so please.
I'm pretty sure Scrabman just lost about 30% of his support.
Nicely done. Glad to see you are still taking an active role.
Great to see you back in politices sam, Scrab for April electons!
Kiss of death.
This is a classy thing for you to do, Sam.
Wow.
I have been both a supporter and critic of yours in the past.
But I am frankly amazed by this turn.
It seems... statesmanlike...
I'll be interested to see if people think that this is a good thing for scrabman or a bad thing. Nothing against you Sam, but your PR image isn't exactly great in many people's eyes. Just the same, nice article.
People may not like Sam but what he says about scrab is true regardless.
Talk about a dead albatross... Shoulda hanged the guy, scrab.
Nice article. I agree... very statesmanlike of you. Voted!
Classy Sam. I agree. Our differences have been political and not personal. I think we can move forward into a better future!
Are U sure that supporting him you realy support him, or just scare voters away?
Good luck Scrab!
Probably because Scrab was the least critical of him in office.
Whats with all these negative comments! Uncle Sam did not do too much bad. All of you are saying that this article ruined Scrabman's chances of winning.
Vote for Scrab~**~ Vote for Scrab~**~Vote for Scrab~**~
Man, we're a cynical bunch. What if (and this may be *craaazy-talk* but...) -- what if Uncle Sam and Scrabman both just enjoy eRep, love the community (since this *is* a social networking - MMO hybrid), and want to make sure we all have good time -- be it lulz or world domination (economic or battle)?
I'ma go dance in the dandelion patch with Opus now.
You rock, Uncle Sam. Vote scrabman!
Where'd my comment go? Boo, hiss.
You cynical people. This may just be crazy talk, but what if US and scrab just like the game and the community? They just want everyone to have enjoy the lulz and world domination.
Very Classy Sam...Scrab, you have my vote
Seems to me if you don't feel so strong about being "thrust" into your new position you could quit before you have started. Just resign Uncle Sam.
nah, I'm ready to get back into politics by now, my break from it has allowed me to cool down. I believe getting involved with the AAP again is the perfect place to start.
Bravo Sam, bravo.
I wouldnt be so fast to accept any endorsement from someone so inept at running a country that he had to be impeached to stop the idiocy.
An endorsement from Uncle Sam is akin to an endorsement from Mao or Castro. It might get some support with it but it cant do any good really.
I also like how you act like you wanted out of the political scope of this game. WE both know its all you have Sam, and feigning shock or anything but your extreme interest is a farce. Let me ask, how long before you run for congress or president again? Sure it will have to be a few months so the sheep forget your misuse of funds, you botched invasion of mexico and all the other dirty underhanded things you did as president... but I've got no doubt you will stay out of politics.
haha
I love how someone with a vote for John jay picture is campaigning against me, when I'm not even in the race.
Never voting for Scrab, not because I don't like him, he's fine, I just prefer a more aggressive approach. So I'll be voting for Desertfalcon or John Jay, haven't decided yet.
voted.
Very classy move.
