[FRERK] An outsiders look on a quite remarkable Brit

Day 1,046, 09:29 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Frerk

Hey guys!
Today I'm looking into(and eventually, talking to) a guy I've always thought of as a remarkable guy. I ofcourse mean Prime Minister Candidate Jamesw.

When I first met Jamesw, I was the Secretary General of PHOENIX. I already knew some people from the UK, but for me, being Dutch at the time, he was a new kid.
In a few days time this new guy proved to be quite a valuable troll.... I mean addition to PHOENIX.
James came up with good ideas, and made a few exceptionally well designed plans. All in all, I can say I was happy with him.

I'm glad to say that today, I'll be having a chat with this 'pretty cool kid'.

The interview

Alright James, before we can start, I need to solve an odd issue. Where the hell did you get your avatar from?
It's and old Dick van Dyke picture I found :3 I found it when I was using one of his old programs for my uni course around the time I joined.

Good, now that's solved(I'll google it later on), lets get on with it.
Why do you play the game? Most people are attached to the game because of a primary reason, do you have one?
I play out of a sort of duty I guess; you want your country to be the best: biggest/strongest/etc, sto that's pretty much all I look to do these days: improve the UK bit by bit.

Currently you are one of the most experienced people in the UK. One of the key advantages your opponent GGRyan says he has, is that he has a fresher, more open point of view. Do you think you, as an old player, can adjust to this odd changing game?
Normally, I would gladly step aside for newer candidates, but this month is different. We're into another month in which the game will be drastically changing, and that requires someone who has their finger on pretty much every part of the game. It also means that I, as deputy prime minister during the V2 switchover, have a pretty unique experience with changing modules and admin intervention: to coin a phrase GGRyan used so well: I have been there, and I have done it - so I can bring that experience, and do it, again.

That's some confident words 🙂
As Deputy Candidate you have picked the guy with the extremely annoying name; Kevy. Everybody loves the panda, but can you explain to us why you've picked him?

He is much the same as GGRyan was when I chose him. A great guy, who has been involved in stuff, had a chance in politics and moved upto ministries. He may not have had the cabinet terms GGRyan was blessed with, although when GGRyan was chosen he had just started as MoFA, and served a few month as MoLA. In terms of experience, I'd say they're equally matched really(comparing Kevy to GGRyan pre-selection.) The main reason anyone chooses a deputy is to bring a different dynamic to their cabinet: I chose kevy because his whole experience is pretty much based domestically, so he can do things which I don't have time to do in that respect. Did I mention he was a cool guy?

Nope, you didn't, but I agree it should be mentioned 😃

My opinion so far
I think Jamesw has proven in the past that he is a well willing Prime Minister doing a good job. We've had some jolly good fun(remember attacking Valhalla and nearly taking it?) and I'm confident he can bring this again. He’s an extremely experienced citizen and has shown to have the guts to act.

This finished part 1 of the Jamesw interviews series. The next part will be done as soon as his cabinet is finished, and will go in depth on that and his policies. Stay tuned!

Frerk,
That silly Dutchie
