She was goading people for answers about how to deal with an everlasting PTO threat.  How do we 'unite'?  How can some people call for 'Unity' from the parties and their leaders amid all the infighting, sniping, back-door-dealing shenanigans?  As I read on the hair on my arms raised up.  

Just about a year ago, 360 days to be exact, the same discussion continues to take place however the country is unequivocally united.  If you blink you just might miss this.  Almost every party is dedicated to the ATO effort.  When the need to stop a PTO arises people stand up for the occasion, unquestioning, unwavering and damn ****ing determined to stave off any attack: foreign or domestic.

The Federalists are a well oiled machine.  The trust fingerguns put in the party and the individuals who worked their asses off to make it is what it is today is beautifully commendable.  

To me, being a leader means having willing followers. Having power means people listen to what you say because they trust you and respect you. ~ fingerguns

I have a phenomenal Media Staff. Whether they are new, old and/or recently returned they are the proud embodiment and horny epitome of the Federalist Party. ~ WJ

If you don't know him you probably should, so if you've read this far you may as well keep reading.  His cabinet is full of good old-established citizens as well as some new faces to the political scene.

NB😒o now that you are party president and grabbing the torch from Blondeninja what are your thoughts on how she has left things for you?

JLO: I think she has left things pretty awesome. We saw our forum activity go up under her watch, along with Congressional seats and we saw the development of younger players do well. Overall, the state of the Feds is great and I just hope to build on that. She's a tough act to follow.

NB:That in mind what do you plan on keeping and what do you plan on changing for proud and constantly horny?

JLO: I wouldn't say I'm planning on changing anything per se, it's just a question of making things more effective and helping things in the party be easier. For example, once we get the treasury running, we will be able to better fund our programs in a way that helps our members greatly.

NB:There has been a lot of talk about PTO lately with the party president elections, specifically regarding Laren Eiola and her/him or it whatever being blacklisted by congress and the mass emails she sent out to eUS citizens. What is your plan for the Feds to avoid or continue avoiding a mole in our party?

JLO: Well honestly I think that with our party, we've set our self up in a way that makes it pretty darn near impossible to PTO. Ajay never even tried during the AFA glory days because he knew better. I think that the biggest thing is making sure that the FBI is run by someone awesome (it is this month by Blondeninja) and make sure that we keep evolving to meet any threats. The PTO threat is a virus, the FBI is our medicine. We just need to keep it up to date, which is something Blondie is working on this month.

NB:Where do you hope the we end up as a party under your watchful eye?

JLO: I really want us to get back to the glory days. I think that these next few months will determine if we are the number one party simply by numbers, or by numbers and influence.

NB😮ut of personal curiosity what made you choose Robert Redford as your avatar?

JLO: That was actually all Fingerguns. I used to have grandmaster shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Fingerguns said that if I want to be CP one day I should go for something more serious lol. She also said that it was hard when people think I might be a 14 year old female 😛. So I changed from bunnytoaster to Jefferson Locke and from master shake to Robert Redford.

NB:I enjoyed Spy Game good movie. Are there any similarities with you and his character in that film?

JLO: Yes, in that I will do whatever it takes to get something done. Also yes because we both have great hair 😛.

NB😮n a completely unrelated note, what are your thoughts on Brad Pitt?

JLO: I like him. He can play any role and he has done some great movies (12 monkeys is a favorite).

NB:Any motivational advice or thoughts to new/up and coming Feds to get involved and grow in the game?

JLO: Sign up on the forums. Get involved and ask as many questions as you can. That's how I got to where I am, by asking Vasilis, Fingerguns, Paul, BigC, and many many others constant questions.

NB:Well now that we can proudly confirm you as our PP, I'd like to congratulate you on your win, but I would think most aren't to surprised; are you?

JLO: Yeah I am because I've lost a few times before lol. I lost to Dunks, Fingerguns, and Gnilraps...which isn't a bad list to lose too, but it still sucks. I'm just honored to be on the long list of Fed PPs.

NB:Anything you'd like to say about or to your running mates?

JLO: Apollo is a commie and Crash works for the NSA. He's probably listening to this right now 😛.
Really, it's that they are great guys and we would have been in good hands if they won as well. I have nothing but respect for them, and look forward to voting for both of them in the future 😉.

PP Leadership & Staff

Hey folks,
Jefferson Locke just got elected the new Federalist Party President. Therefor I want to introduce his new cabinet he's working with to reach the goals he was campaigning on.
His cabinet is full of good old-established citizens as well as some new faces to the political scene.

Tyler Bubblar, Vice-President
Tyler Bubblar is the new Vice-President backing up Jefferson Locke if needed. His job can vary a lot. He's giving advise and opinion to the current Party President, helps out to organize the cabinet, acts in place of abscence of the current PP and other things.

Paul Proteus, Chief of Staff
His job is to stay on top of the cabinet and to make sure that all directors are doing what's needed to be done. As for any special plans, he's helping Jefferson Locke to accomplish what he campaigned on.

Mazzy Cat, Keeper of the Treasury
She's in charge of building and keeping a working treasury for the Federalist Party to fund people/Departments if needed.

blondeninja, Director of the FBI
As you don't see FBI Agent IRL all the time walking by, you don't see them here publishing articles or acting in the public scene. They're working behind. FBI Agents do things like granting access to the forums/IRC, they check congressional applicants as well as all new party members. Their next step is to increase cooperation with the DHS

Kody5, Director of Recruitment
Part of their job in the Recruitment Department is messaging new citizens in the eUS and help them with their first steps in eRepublik. Also they help new citizens to join the metagame or guide them to the most fitting party so they have the most out of it.

crashthompson & dk3dknight, Director of Fun/Retention Department
The Fun/Retention Department is taking care of the forum in general. They're trying to increase the activity by creating events and contests. Also they try to make new members feel welcomed. They assist members finding their personal goals in eRepublik, finding them jobs within the party or commune working possibilities.

WookyJack, Director of the Federalist Media Department
WookyJack is the voice of the Feds. His job is to inform Feds about political news, party stuff, contests and similar things. The Fed Press is used to provide helpful information to other citizens whether they are new to the game, trying to find their way into politics, find a good fitting party or just interested in Fed Press. For this month, WookyJack's plans are to change the layout of the Fed Press a bit, so there will be better ways for readers to oversee the total. Also the Fed Media Department will continously publish articles two to three times a week.

ubuntu21, Director of the FedEx Department
He's in charge of a small group of people messaging the whole Federalist Party about the most important things going on at the forum/ingame. The FedEx Department will now start working together with the Fed Media Department.

eliwood_sain, Fed Historian
Being Fed Historian is mostly trying to keep up the archives as to who has done what for the party and recording the legacy of the party so the party can work more with what has been successful and what hasn't.

bigcdizzle, Commander of Feds Military Unit S.H.I.E.L.D.
His job as Commanding Officer (CO) of S.H.I.E.L.D. can vary a lot day to day. He has to keep up to date with the war plans and priorities set by NSC, organize S.H.I.E.L.D. priorities to match them, keep members of the MU engaged and having fun, oversee supplies and policies by their QMs and commune holders, settle any disputes, and come up with new and exciting ideas for the MU. It's a big job, but it's one of the most diversified things to do in eRep.
As for his current plans in S.H.I.E.L.D., the MU is just coming off of a high from their amazing deployment, and are going to be looking into more ways to keep their members having fun, while maximizing their damage output for America and her allies. It is considered that there will be more new programs, events and other activity ideas.

Update: New Erepublik Countries

    A few days ago, the all benevolent Plato decided to add 4 new countries to the game. 2 are to be decided on by the admins, and the other 2 will be Voted in by the players! Many articles have been written promoting different countries, but some clear winners are showing. They can be found here. These winners appear to be Cuba and Georgia.

    People seem to want Georgia due to its RL history as a former soviet satellite and to have a country in the Southern Caucasus region. It will likely not be a big power, but it will be interesting to see it play out. Cuba on the other hand, is a much bigger deal for us. There seem to be 2 major reasons people want Cuba. One is the people who want to role-play as Castro and create a pseudo-communist Utopia, and those people are relatively harmless. However, there are also those who want to use Cuba as a proxy to have a permenant and direct border to attack the eUSA. If Cuba wins a spot as a nation, and it looks like it will, we need to put serious effort into preventing this.

    There is little speculation on what nations the admins will add, but they will likely be nations with high internet-use so that Plato can get more bling. These nations may include Iceland, Ecuador Luxembourg, or Morocco.

The Failed States by A^2

As I walk through the North USA I look around and see the streams filling up with the blood of the fallen.  The WAR has been raging for a couple of months now.  We have come to liberate this land from the grip of tyranny.  They have been under the rule of dictators and subject to corruption on all levels for many years.  From the south, we looked on in pity.  We hoped that they would learn to elect leaders that would lead them into the promised land of sand and warmth.  But, they have failed to see the light.  They have continued to elect leaders that lead them down the false path.  The land is being cleansed.  But the greater question remains, “How can you cleanse the soul?”



General Pfeiffer looks out on the landscape from his command post.  They have begun the process of changing the land from its previously cold and inhospitable state.  It is a long process, but the ends always justify the means.  He looks back down at his desk, the strategy map still staring at him – a job still unfinished.  He takes a seat in his chair and grabs his bottle of Hennigan’s.  One more belt to nurse back his headache.  He pours a generous three fingers into his coffee cup.  He slowly sips the nectar and feels the warmth spread from his chest to his limbs.  He puts the cup down and grabs The Prince.  It always gives him the proper inspiration to reset the map.  He reads…

The land that once was, Canada, will learn to fear and respect the purifier.  The USA is no longer obligated to protect a land that is unpure.  Once it has been purged of tyranny, self-loathing, and unclean spirits; it may be rehabilitated and re-colonized.  Like the trail-blazers in the 17th-19th centuries, the United States of North America will manifest her will.  As the Sun rules and governs the day, and the Moon the night; so shall the USNA rule and govern as the protector of virtue.  It is our duty to help our neighbor.  And we do not take this stewardship lightly.  We will ensure the ultimate success of our former ally.  And we will do whatever it takes to reach this goal.  With virtue and morality on our side, we will succeed.  Tyranny will fall.  The punishment may be severe, but I assure you it is necessary.  Eventually, the lands as well as her soul will be cleansed.



Pursuant to the goal of virtue, the USNA had begun the purification of another failed state – France.  We managed to secure her lands from the tyranny which plagued her for many months.  However, there is still a stench that cannot be cleansed from her land.  We showed her the light.  But the foul that rises from deep beneath cannot be purged.  This land is dead.  It serves no further purpose to occupy her lands, for the time being.  We may continue to guard over the most precious resources, protecting them from the hands of the wicked.  And we may return, if the winds of change shift.  For now, we will let this dead land rot.  And from the ashes of its corpse, may a more virtuous and righteous state be reborn.

Toga Party!

Very recently in the WHPR, the matter of eRepublik radio was brought to attention as a waning medium in the e-world by a very concerned (and sexy) citizen.

The one beacon of audibly entertaining hope in a dark, relatively quiet world is Fed Radio. Thanks to our host, dk3dknight, and his cohost, Apollo221, every Sunday at 18:00eRep (6pm Pacific, 9pm Eastern) we are treated to the one remaining eRep radio show. The show mostly centers on discussion, covering current events in eRep with a focus on the headlines in eRepublik media. When I spoke to our host earlier today, he added that “We also play some music. We have an open mic to listen to questions from the audience, [and] we also try to answer any questions directed at us or leadership. We try to have some fun as well.”

If one show a week isn't enough for you though, check into the Fed Radio channel (at #fedradio on IRC) on Wednesday at 18:00eRep. Starting this week and continuing on a weekly basis for as long as they will let me, I will be hosting what some of you may remember with fondness (or possibly with horror), a show I call Toga Party.

Toga Party is a show that involves as little eRepublik discussion as possible, but will now be brought to you thanks to Fed Radio. You can't call in, but you CAN send song requests and dedications to me via query (youtube links preferred). All songs, artists, and genres are welcome. And, halfway through the show, there will be some sort of game or contest for a prize, open to members of all parties (which will be announced during the show).

Federalist Congressional Elections are coming up!

The requirements are:

1. Party Activity: You will need to be involved in the party in some capacity.  This includes 30 days of party membership
2. Party Support: You will need to help the party with earning votes.  This could mean PMs, articles, shouts, or general networking.  More votes for us = more people in.
3. Personal Ethics: You will need to be in line with the Party's ethics, which includes honest voting practices (i.e. no bribery).
4. Personal Backgroun😛 You will need to pass an FBI Check to be eligible.
5. Congressional Activity: If you get elected, you will need to be active in Congress to maintain eligibility.  Keeping involved in discussion and votes is the main form of activity.
6. Congressional Policy: If you get elected, you will need to follow all Congressional Policy especially in regards to IES to maintain eligibility.

Make sure you run in-game if selected.

What is a Federalist?

As a top 5 party, we are always in danger of being targeted by enemies, domestic and foreign. The stronger we are, the safer this country is. When we are organized and when we stand up for this party, we are not only effectively serving our members, but we are protecting the eUS.
We have forgotten ourselves, but it is time to remember. It's time for the Federalists to take their rightful place as the top party in the eUS. - WHO WE ARE
