[FDP] - To our Victor!

So we did it..

The UK won Jellyland and PEACE successfully defended Manitoba. It was as epic a battle as the media is making out. Not only epic, it was also an extremely important set of battles. This was a fresh and new test of Eden/Fortis vs PEACE and immediately last night PEACE was at a disadvantage after they had fought off RWs in Iran. Eden/Fortis had one whole day head start.

For the UK it was the first solo victory that we have had (although our military was almost entirely preoccupied in Hungary -- the major fighting being done in Jellyland by private citizens) in a long while.

What we won..

Who dun'it?

The enormous and incalculable effort that it takes to organise our military is inconceivable. The stress and fervour that ensues in battles such as these is high and in the final few minutes, when no one can know the outcome, no one wants to be in the shoes of our commanders.

Win or lose they need to be there. Win or lose they need to face the reality, and before any victory can be had, they are the ones that need to do the immense arranging and coordinating. Necrosis has been leading our armed forces for two months now and has done so impeccably. He is wholly and solely to thank for our actions today. Abroad the effort was a group one, but without the UK branch of PEACE armed forces the battles would have been far more difficult for PEACE and, again, we have Necrosis to thank for that.

I do not wish to take away from the efforts put into this all by his subordinates; they all did extremely well today, but our success, and failure, is upon his shoulders.

It is high time that he is recognised for the sheer amount of work he puts in. That acknowledgment is now long overdue.

Today truly was a Glorious Victory by Necrosis.
