[eV4CP] Program & Cabinet

Hello citizens of eBelgium,
As most of you have probably seen I'm running for the position of President of eBelgium. I'm running through The Belgian Dream party, but other Parties expressed their support for me already and I give them my thanks for that.

This article is a more detailed view of what my plans and program is, as well as the list of members of the cabinet of my Government.

PROGRAM

I have put the general directions of what I will be concentrating on during my term in my Introductory article published a few days ago. I will now give you my input on certain aspects of this program.

1. Military

First, I have to say some words about the recent war we had. The Air Strike on eBelgium is over, eIsrael couldn't land on eBelgian soil and they were heavily defeated by our defense. I have to mention our allies and friends that helped eBelgium unconditionally, especially the allies from the North Sea Protection Pact, most of all eUK for the heavy tanking and ePoland for putting CO's.

We've seen now and in numerous past occasions, that nothing can lift the activity and fun in the community more than an active war. So, during my mandate I will look to continue the support to our allies on the battlefields and helping in their wars as they have helped us. If we don't find ourselves in a position to have a real war during my term and if the conditions are favorable I would like to organize a Training war at some point. That will be discussed with and in co-operation with our allies. Same goes if any eventual Warfare Tournament is organized by the administrators. I will have a really solid and experienced MoD cabinet ready to answer all challenges.

2. Education

I think I've said enough about the new situation with the baby-boom in eBelgium. My main objective will be to try and educate and integrate the new players in the community, so I plan on having the biggest team in the Ministry of Education. In the next period there should be more educational articles for the newbies by the MoE. Dig out old tutorials, republish and update and also publishing new ones. A few articles were published already by some responsible citizens. eBelgium can prosper by this baby-boom on the long run, but we have to make sure many of them will stay in the game and continue playing the right way and make sure they don't do anything that could harm eBelgium in the future. This is the new reality in eBelgium, we can't ignore the new players and marginalize them, not to mention demonizing them and accusing them of PTO as some players continue to advocate.
I said previously that I'm thinking of starting a Mentorship Program for the newbies, but seeing that there are way too many new players than old ones I think that the individualistic approach will not be that successful. Instead, my opinion is that having MoE articles and tutorials (as a way of mass-informing) will be the best solution. I will be further thinking about this in the next period.

3. Foreign Policy

One of the important things now is the new developments in the eWorld politics, we've seen the collapse of Sirius, regrouping within other alliances as well and many countries are in the process of finding their place in the newly created situation. eBelgium was a ProSirius country and whether or not this alliance exists for the time being we continue to be close to the friends we had in the alliance. Any further changes in the international relations and eventual formation of new alliances, we will be closely monitoring the developments and act accordingly in the best interests of eBelgium.

As for the moment, we are members of NSPP (North Sea Protection Pact) and I support our membership and role there. We've seen that NSPP is highly organized and successful organization of brotherhood nations ready to help each other in times of need.

I will assume the role of MoFA myself, but I will have good advisers/deputies too.

4. Finance

A host of laws were already proposed and accepted for transferring the gold from the Country account won by the Military Units on the last Epic Warfare Tournament. The current CP has transferred the funds to the MU Commanders. There are currently about 370K BEF left in the National Bank (NBB-BN😎. I would like to save these funds, but they will be used in case we go into a serious war for supplying, CO's and maybe even additional MPP's, it all depends on the situation. Maybe it will be used on the Monetary Market to make some profit, but since I'm not so good in that department I'll leave that, as well as the other matters, in the hands of the Ministry.

There are a few other things I consider, but this article is long enough already and I will inform you about it when the time comes.

CONCLUSION

I hope I'll get your support on the 5th of December, I want to do what's best during the mandate if you’ll give me the chance.
