¡Al fin ha llegado! ¡La guerra! ¡La ansiada guerra! Hace meses que no tenemos una en condiciones. El último NE fue hace poco, pero fue pactado con Portugal… ¿Una verdadera guerra? Creo que no la hemos tenido desde el AS a Argentina. Son ya más de cinco meses. La gente lo pedía a gritos, desde hacía meses, y estaba en el programa de Ketoner. Pero, señores, las cosas se hacen cuando se hacen por motivos, y si se hace ahora no es porque nos haya apetecido hoy, si no porque las circunstancias diplomáticas nos lo han permitido. Vamos que no ha sido un NE tirado sin pensar, sino que venía determinado por varios factores, que trataremos de desgranar todo lo posible sin destapar “asuntos de estado” que afecten a estrategias presentes y futuras.

Empezamos el tour diplomático, que cómo no, debe hacerlo desde Polonia. Nuestros eternos aliados. El principal casus belli que nos hizo decidir atacar USA en lugar de algún otro objetivo (incluso más jugoso), fue el de ayudar a nuestros hermanos en su guerra contra los Estados Unidos, pudiendo así ayudar a TWO con una batalla directa. Tras mostrar un inquebrantable apoyo tanto en revueltas como diplomáticamente, estábamos esperando poder agradecer y recompensar su inestimable ayuda de años, la más importante, no tanto por la evidente fuerza que tienen como nación, sino por saber que es siempre un puerto seguro, un asa al que agarrarse, inmutable, siempre allí para ayudar. Ese convencimiento de nuestra mutua ayuda nos hace ser más que dos naciones, mucho más, a la hora de enfrentarnos a cualquier reto, y siempre que pidáis ayuda, allí estaremos para ayudaros, como ahora. Gracias, y HAIL SPOLAND.

Pero, aun sin dudar que os ayudaríamos segun pudieramos, teníamos que solucionar algunos temas diplomáticos antes de lanzarlo. Y esto nos lleva a la siguiente parada...

Seguimos en nuestro tour con Brasil, otro de nuestros grandes aliados y amigos. Sabíamos de la especial relación que tuvieron Brasil y USA en un tiempo, y por eso no se nos pasó ni por un instante la idea de lanzar el NE sin al menos avisarles de nuestras intenciones y tratar de evitar que esto degenerase en un enfriamiento de nuestras buenas relaciones, de minimizar el posible daño. Así pues fuimos a hablar con nuestros grandes aliados, y nos dijeron que no tomaran partido en el conflicto, lo que nos alegra porque evitará en gran medida la embarazosa situación de tener que combatir en una batalla contra gente a la que consideras amiga.

Con la postura de Brasil clara, y sabiendo que este país era el miembro de ROLA que más problemas podría tener con este futuro NE, procedimos a lanzar el NE, previa votación en el congreso. Supongo que ahora os preguntaréis por Chile en esta historia. Pues bien, estimamos que lo más conveniente era que a Chile se le explicase la decisión después, pero no debe considerarse como que no tomamos en cuenta su opinión, es más, era lo que más miedo provocó en el gabinete, el que esto llevase a un enfrentamiento diplomático. Paso a exponer los motivos de esta decisión:

El primero es que -y no es ningún secreto- EE.UU. no es que cuente demasiado apoyo popular entre el pueblo Chileno, habiendo figuras notables de su pais que no se han mostrado muy favorables a ellos, en temas de amistad y alianzas. Y se entiende teniendo el precedente que tuvieron con ellos en Terra. Así como Brasil si que aprecia a USA, no se da este caso en chile. Por lo tanto, suponíamos que este NE tampoco enojaría demasiado al pueblo chileno ni a su gobierno, habida cuenta de la neutralidad de Brasil.
El segundo, es que se pretendía llevar esto de la manera más sigilosa posible. No se ha hablado de esto ni siquiera en reuniones de TWO, aunque si al HQ. Cuantos menos países lo supieran mejor, y por eso decidimos contactar con los más críticos sólo.
La tercera, y más importante, es que esto evitaba poner a Chile en una situación embarazosa, en la que hubiese tenido que decidir entre si mantener el secreto por lealtad para con la amistad española, o de si contarlo en CoT por su deber y lealtad que ha contraído con la alianza. En cualquier caso, hubiese sido una mala jugada por nuestra parte el obligarles a tomar esa decisión, y fue la suma de estos tres argumentos lo que nos decantó por guardar silencio.

Por eso os pedimos que no os toméis esto como un mal gesto hacia vosotros, ya que nuestra amistad nos parece importante.

Bueno por último os actualizamos las ultimas noticias. Tras nuestro NE, USA ha lanzado el suyo para cambiar su NE de objetivo, aun no es seguro si lo haran, por lo que es posible que Polonia tenga su frente algo aliviado. Esperemos que hayais sido ahorradores XD, el estado en todo caso si que lo ha sido.
Además, México ha lanzado un NE a Polonia, por lo que esperamos poder cerrar este frente con ellos y focalizarnos en EE.UU.

Well, it finally happened! The war! that wanted war! It’s been for months that we don’t have an acceptable war. The last NE was not long time ago… but agreed with Portugal… A real war? I think we haven’t got one since AS to Argentina… More than 5 months ago. People cried out for it, and it was on Ketoner’s program. But gentlemens, things can be done when they are done for a reason, and it is not done now by casualty but for the diplomatic circumstances that have allowed to do it. We can say it was not a casual NE, it was determinated for several reasons that we are going to explain, without puting in danger spanish strategy.

We will begin the diplomatic tour, of course, from Poland. Our eternal allie. The main reason why we attacked USA, and not any other objective (even more attractive), was to help our brothers in their war against USA. After showing an unbreakable support in RW and diplomatically, we were willing to express gratitude, and compensate their inestimable help for years, the most important, not for their evident strength as a powerfull nation, but for knowing their faithfulness and their help when it’s needed. Always there to help. The certainty of our mutual help makes us be more than 2 nations, much more, and what we want you to know is that we will be there for you when you request it. HAIL POLAND (and thanks)
But, without any doubt on our help in every way we could, we had to solve some diplomatic matters before launching it. And that takes us to the next stop…

We follow our tour with Brasil another great ally and great friend. We knew about the special relation between Brazil and USA, so we even thought about sending NE without informing them about our intentions and try to avoid a decadence about our relation with Brazil and minimize the possible damage. So we went to talk to our good allies and they said they wouldn’t be a part of the conflict, what makes us happy because it will help to avoid the shameful situation of fighting in a battle against people that we consider friends.

With a clear position of Brazil, and knowing it was the member of ROLA that could have more problems with this NE, we proceeded to send NE, previously voted in the congress. Now I suppose you will guess about Chile at this point. Well, we estimated that the most convenient was to explain our decision to Chile after this, but it must not be considered as we didn’t count on their opinion, even more, this was the principal fear of the cabinet, that this could end into a diplomatic confrontation. I proceed to explain the reasons for this decision.

The first one -and it’s not a secret- is that USA doesn’t count a lot between Chilean people, existing distinguished persons from its country that haven’t showed very favorable to them, in friendship and alliances. As Brazil appreciates USA, this doesn’t happen with Chile. And it’s reasonable if we look at the conflict between both countries in Terra. So we supposed this wouldn’t make Chile specially angry (neither population or cabinet) counting on Brazil neutrality.
The second is that we intended to be the most discreet. We haven’t even talked about it in TWO meeting (but we informed the HQ). The less people knew it, the best. We just talked to the critical countries.
The third, and most important, is that we also pretended to avoid Chile an embarrassing situation of keeping the secret of Spain or talk to COT because of their duty and loyalty acquired to the alliance. In both cases, it would have been a bad move from our part to obligate them to make such a decision.
Due to this three reasons we decided to keep silence.

This is why we ask you not to take it as a bad behaviour to you, as we very appreciate your friendship.

We will finally update you with the last news. After our NE, USA launched their objective NE, but it’s not sure yet, so it’s possible that Poland will be freed from a front. It will be hard because it’s USA and also count on a hard wall to break. We hope you have been earners XD, we can say that Spain has been.
Also Mexico launched a NE to Poland, so we hope to close this front with them and focus on USA, now we are in and Poland can take care of them.
