[ENG] When we were young
We became the great empire that we were because we were more bold, more united , had more common sense, more independent in our decisions and most of all naive.
People back then were interested in fun, things were more simple not like now ,with useless bureaucracy , useless leading titles .
And that's why alliances like ATLANTIS took birth, to rule the world not to defend within a cradle, not to feel safe together , but to strike together.
With time eRomania got soft, people got soft. We backed out, we started taking long term decisions, embraced a unruffled plan and created a peaceful future for our nation.
We were there , the same as we were there with ATLANTIS , watching carefully as EDEN take the first breath, yet now were more watchers than actors. We were not bold anymore. The truth is that we were there in eUSA just because we were afraid that the same will happen to us, that we would be the cherry on the cake of PEACE. We became soft , easy to manipulate. Now we want to show to our allies that we no longer support them but... ironically we give massive damage in their quests.. that's because people will keep fighting their wars for exp. and wellness. We have no balls to start anew, to show that we mean business.
Each time a decision is taken we either set sail on the stream or we ground our selfs inside a corner preaching our philosophy . We can't have a debate anymore. Leaders ignore critics , I see dozen of criticizing articles and yet no response from the at least leading persons. And they have such a big cabinet stuffed with useless ministers that can at least release a press release with weekly response to this kind of articles...I understand a lot are just useless junk, but some have a big point. Nope, we don't have a forum anymore were we can enter in rational debate, we send message to the top ,yet we just get denial. We are no longer united ,but divided in groups : the leaders , the normal guys, the newbs and the grown up newbs that try to have a word, but nobody cares.
Back then we had quite a few military corps. , but now we have "quite a dozen" of them . Now we had SMR, but it failed ... and yet we just want to make another one alike and increase the Bureaucracy
. Quite oddly people agree just to scratch the surface not to scour the rotten core. The same failure as with EDEN, why we needed another alliance alike since we had ATLANTIS, yep.. because we weren't men enough to admit were were wrong disassembling it. We had more common sens back then. We knew not to make pointless decisions.
When a decision was taken by eRomania and we knew that ATLANTIS hesitated, but also we had faith in its success , we never backed down, if there was no path we used to make one. If there was an international affair and we had a view we used to express it colorful and clear, not hide between classy words that MEAN NOTHING. We were more independent, now we are shackled.
And yes we were more naive, because back then were playing a frakking GAME, we were not trying to recreate a new life. Why we are afraid to take decisions, why the frak we want peace inside a game?? Why people try to make a perfect peaceful country were we go to work, eat, write a political non sens article and that;s all? We we forget that we are playing a game , a war game and instead they try to recreate a perfect lame world, the SAME WORLD that they try to ESCAPE! We loved to attack, to take high risk because we had FUN and that's all that mattered, because at the end of the day as you lay down into your bed you knew that is all VIRTUAL and you are REAL, so you couldn't care less.
BACK THEN WE WERE THIS:

I'm Hungarian and lived in the two-region times. Yet I miss what you describe! If the game was meant to have love and peace only, it would have a My Little Pony and not a war module. This is a game... One day you win, the other one you loose... it's part of the fun... but you do have to make a move (and I'm not referring to eRom only!)

But when some countries have made a few baby booms, your empire fall down. i think it's nothing special in you eRomania, the only good point for you is only that u survived without high(not like Indo) and without parent's money(as the hamburger eaters).

THIS IS A GAME, should be more fun.
There is one point that you miss. This is the first long-term, broad, multifaceted and structured (I am not saying well-organized, just well-structured) campaign of an alliance in which eRomania has even taken part. Yet you are displeased, as eRomania is not any more making the map yellower, right?
There will be a point when Serbia and Hungary won't conquer themselves. But that point is not yet here. Good things happen to those who wait.
