As you surely remember, we attacked simultaneously all the regions of the occupied France that we border:
Languedoc-Roussilion
Rhone Alps
Auvergne
Limousin
Poitou charentes

We recognize that Spain has an incredible firepower capability, so we cannot simply attack a region and tank there: we would certainly lose.
Thus, we needed to think a strategy that make Spain spread as much damage as possible, while we gain some ground to reach the core economic region for France: Rhone Alps and Aquitaine.
We also knew that Spain will defend Rhone Alps at the first place, and that at this stage we do not have the capability to take it back.
To reach Aquitaine we needed to take back Limousine OR Poitou. Limousine would have been of course better due that there are a lot of grain companies located there, but Spain will send a lot of men also there. We lured a lot of damage in Limousine (and Rhone Alps of course) during the last day, enough to force Spain to reduce from the other battlefronts.
As you noticed, we opened Poitou just after the daychange: that allowed us to fight twice while a lot of the soldiers were sleeping: a full-prepared Spain is out of our reach. We decided to not open it the day before the daychange due to the fact that Spain would have easily rebuilt the wall during the day (like happened in RA and Limo) wasting the surprise effect in no time.

At the end, we managed to secure Poitou Charentes!

That has been the fist step for the liberation of French soil: maybe a small one, but still a step forward.

For the whole Ukrainian army and division Galicia, that made the organized strike, bringing 70 men this morning to the fight, and especially to the colonels Dimmustranger and Otakuar that helped to distribute the extra funds for the morning strike.

And all French tanks and soldiers that helped with the plan (full list is to follow, blame ereptools for that 🙂 ).

Як ви, напевно, пам'ятаєте, ми атакували одночасно усі окуповані фрацузські регіони, з якими межуємо:

Ми розуміємо, що Іспанія має значну перевагу у військовій силі, тому ми не можемо просто атакувати регіон і танкувати там: ми точно програли б з такою тактикою.
Тому ми мали придумати стратегію, яка примусила б Іспанців розпорошувати якомога більше демеджу, в той час як ми отримали б можливість одночасно атакувати ключові для економіки Франції регіони: Rhone Alps and Aquitaine.
Ми також розуміли, що Іспанці в першу чергу захищатимуть Rhone Alps, і що у нас на цьому етапі немає шансів відвоювати цей регіон.
Щоб досягти Аквітанії, нам потрібно було відвоювати Limousine АБО Poitou.
Limousine, звичайно, був би кращим варіантом, бо там багато зернових компаній, але можна було здогадатись, що Іспанія туди теж пошле багато людей. Тож, ми виманили достатньо демеджу у Limousine (і, звичайно, Rhone Alps), щоб зменшити їхню потужність на інших фронтах.
Як ви, можливо, помітили, битву при Пуатьє ми відкрили одразу після зміни дня — це дозволило нам воювати двічі, поки іспанське населення спало. Ми не відкривали цю битву перед зміною дня, бо іспанці легко могли б відбудувати стінку протягому усього дня (як вони зробили у RA і Limo), зводячи нанівець увесь ефект несподіванки.

Зрештою, нам вдалося відвоювати Poitou Charentes!

Це перший крок у поверненні Французських земель - можливо, не настільки великий крок, але все ж, крок уперед.
