Hey there. I know, the country is hibernating a little at the moment, but that doesn’t mean I forgot you ! 🙂

I wanted to explain some more recent game mechanics in order for you to get the best out of it :

Determination : Determination is a fighting bonus that multiplies the influence that your damage provides on the battlefield. An example : if the determination bonus equals 2, the enemy will have to deal twice as much damage as you do to stay even. (awtch !) Determination can only be found in regions that are occupied by a country that isn’t the original country where they belong, like here an eGerman region occupied by the Poles. The Determination bonus increases as time under occupation of the same country passes and is activated when a Resistance War is started in that same region. If the Resistance War succeeds the region goes back in hands of the original country and while the Determination bonus doesn’t vanish imediately, it melts very quickly (in a matter of days). If the RW fails, Determination will continue to grow until another RW is started or another country takes hold of said region. It is important to know that the Determination bonus only advantages the side of the Resistance.

Determination was added to the game as a helping hand to the countries that were often completely annexed, in order for them to have a chance to get back the control of their own regions every once in a while. You must also know that the bonus doesn’t amplify your damage in itself, only the influence your damage has. The reason why it is important is because it won’t help you getting True Patriot and Battle Hero medals. Where Determination does come in handy is in your search for Resistance hero and Freedom Fighter medals. A Resistance War in a region having a big Determination bonus has much more chance to succeed. It must therefor be taken into account when seeking for succesful RWs that are worth the investment of BEF or damage.

I need to add that the current government backs our own occupation by Poland in order to deal with severe internal problems. It means that you better avoid investing in our own regions until the gov takes another stance.




Missions : I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s Day! 😃 As you may have noticed, our lovely admins have spoilt us with new missions of Love. But it is not the first time they do this and that is why you must be warned : it is not rare for them to put rewards on the missions that aren’t enough to make those missions worth accomplishing. Although you can still accomplish them for the sake of fun, if you’re worried about profitability you better document yourselves beforehand on newspapers such as this one.
