While conventionally alliances are fighting against each other and countries fight to help their allies, this time EDEN is highly delighted to have Serbia's assistance in our campaign. There have been times when Serbia has caused a lot of grey hair in EDEN command, but this time EDEN wishes to congratulate Serbia: Thank you!

eSerbia, old chap - what would we do without you?

After Bulgaria triggered Romania's MPPs at the beginning of the month, Romania initiated an attack against Bulgaria, with a high success. One by one, Bulgaria's regions fell to Romania's advance, and it was easy to see Bulgaria was about to be wiped out. Bulgaria posed a security risk to Romania, has Bulgaria had triggered MPPs against Romania, and hence wiping out Bulgaria served Romania's best interests. Also, clearing a route through Bulgaria for Romania would open up other possibilities for EDEN, so Phoenix was left to wonder what the true aim of attacking Bulgarian regions would be.

This time we can reveal what motive EDEN had for invading Bulgaria. The only aim was to erase Bulgaria's MPPs against Romania. We considered the Bulgarian campaign as an annoynance, as wiping out Bulgaria would cost hundreds of gold, with no real strategic merit. But to our delight, this is where Serbia came in. They decided to wipe out Bulgaria before we got to it, paying the whole campaign for us. Now Romania does not have to worry about Bulgaria invading them anymore, which leaves Romania with one front less to deal with.

War campaigns being long and complex, help from outside the brotherhood is highly appreciated. Serbian intervention in Bulgaria made EDEN's job a whole lot easier, so by all means, feel free to aid us again in the future. EDEN is waiting eagerly for further cooperation with Phoenix nations.
