Saxony battle: Phoenix sent back to ash tray

Early this week, liberation of Finland commenced. Joint attacks from Norway, Sweden and Finland were started, and together with the Spanish MPP, Norway pushed through Russian defences in Lapland. Phoenix tried to use to opportunity, and launched several Resistance Wars in Spanish regions, accompanied by a British attack on Brittany. Immediately after seeing the attack, it was clear what the outcome would be. Phoenix attempted to deprive the region of Saxony from Spanish ownership, and tanked the wall deep underground in the first minutes of the battle. Regardless of odds favouring Phoenix, EDEN forces managed to secure Saxony with ease.

Victory in Saxony would not have been possible without the help of our American allies, who rushed in to the aid of their Spanish friends. American mobile forces fought with commitment, and proved once again their loyalty towards their allies. We here in EDEN are deeply grateful towards USA, and look forward to continued cooperation with the American forces.

Finland liberate😛 The end of Russian occupation

Finnish ski troops deploying to the front

At the same time Phoenix tried to futilely fight against EDEN in Spain, the liberation of Finland continued with attacks to Oulu and Aland, the last of the oppressed regions. With the help of EDEN mobile forces, Finland crushed the Russian defences in Aland, and Norway continued its march towards south by attacking Oulu. The battles were easily won, despite Russians trying to resist the attacks. Victory in these battles meant the end of Russian occupation in Finland.

Brazil pushed out of South Africa - Next step, Argentina

Following the success in Spain and Finland, allied forces began an assault on the last Brazilian regions in South Africa. Starting on Friday morning, a joint operation of EDEN and USA to assist South Africa regain her regions started with an attack on Gauteng. Phoenix mobiles were ready to take on the attack during the first day, but the joint commitment of USA and EDEN was too much for them. After 24 hours of fighting, Gauteng was liberated. This means Brazil has now lost the important high diamond region in South Africa. Following Gauteng, even the battle launched to drain Brazilian damage in region of Mpumalanga succeeded, despite no concentrated allied effort to win the battle. Brazil has now been pushed out of South Africa, leaving only Argentina to be dealt with.

American forces continue to fight alongside EDEN

Turkey invasion of Israel fails

While Phoenix was launching RWs in Spain and trying to hold off EDEN and USA in South Africa, Turkey tried to push their luck and attack Israel. Turkey, with the help of major Phoenix MPPs attacked nearly helpless Israeli regions. However, cooperation of Greece halted the Turkish offensive soon, and with the assistance of just a few troops, Turkey was easily pushed back, giving Israel back even the previously occupied Haifa District. Turkey left the battlefield with one region less than it started with, and there is no reason to believe any further attack would fare any better.

What next?

Phoenix was gracious this week and allowed EDEN to win these battles (not minding their mobiles fighting as fiercely as before, just failing this time). EDEN continues to use this good will of Phoenix, and we will push on to liberate the last of the Argentina-occupied South African regions, and eventually, Western Australia. EDEN is committed to fighting for its allies and members, alongside with their American friends. Together we stand tall, and together we can win. As the Supreme Commander Avec said earlier:
"The road ahead of us is long, and it will be filled with setbacks, losses, decisions people will not like, but it will also be filled with victories and accomplishments. Only time will tell how we fare, and it is equally up to me and you to make EDEN succeed.

This week, if nothing else, proves this true. Some battles we lose, but some battles we win. What is important, is that we carry on. We continue to fight for our friends, allies and members, and carry on for victory.

United we stand, divided we fall!
Hail EDEN! Hail victory!
