Salutations House of EDEN,
The word is already out: Argentina is leaving EDEN. Which we deeply regret but can also understand. We think, all can understand that the powerful nation of Argentina, for the first time ever being wiped completely, is working through a bitter moment of disappointment. A disappointment that is logically redirected at their expected lifeline for massive support: their alliance EDEN. We were hoping Argentina would wait out the changes in EDEN HQ, but their Congress did not and chose to leave. Still, Argentina has confirmed that most EDEN mpp’s will be continued. We are losing a member, but keeping a friend.
Now, before you jump to conclusions to whether we let them down or not: since the start of the new HQ three weeks ago, Argentina had, like every other EDEN country, the right for EDEN mpp and mobile prio every few days. And got it, even more than many of our other members who didn’t request. However, moving costs are killing, and even with prio and supplies on – for many players from the European continent moving costs to South America (for RW’s you must fight in the region itself) are simply unaffordable. We cannot blame our soldiers for that, it’s the economic module to blame for.
Not looking for something, but someone to blame? The current imbalance on the South American continent was effectively established by the sudden change of heart in our former allies in Terra. Instead of choosing for pride and principles, and stand by the very allies that helped them regain their own territory - USA sold us out for bonuses and to get Poland and Spain off their backs.
Now, don’t cry for Argentina...
As sad as it is to see our Argentinian friends leave the alliance, it is not like we are losing an ally to our enemies. We are confident that Argentina will remain fighting for the very same principles under the brotherhood and against the people that favour power and bonuses over strategic cooperation and challenges. Most EDEN mpp’s with Argentina will be continued, and we still consider them a long-time ally on the South American continent. We are confident that they will help Colombia with every chance they get, as we alongside will continue to help restore the balance in South America and seek ways to free our own brothers in Colombia once again.
Argentina will raise again too. Probably with new citizens and even more support and sympathy from other nations. We thank Argentina for their contribution in our campaigns and the epic battles we fought as true brothers in the past half year . We are proud we could help you send Bulgaria back to Europe and we want to thank every soldier in Argentina who fought for our priorities during our nights and dawns.
They may not be in our alliance any more, but still in our hearts.
Victoria aut mors!
