The Scorp Report

Hello everyone. I assume that those of you outside Canada do not know who I am so let me introduce myself. My name is Scorpius and Im the new Spokesmen for EDEN. A little background on myself: I've been playing erepublik for over a year now and have been in Canada all my eLife. I've been an active politician there and have served as a Party President, Congressmen, and Cabinet Minister, among other things. I've celebrated with my countries triumphs and a short time ago, wept when we lost our homeland to PEACE.

Up until recently i have not been active in the international community, preferring domestic Canadian politics, but a short while ago i was given the opportunity to put my name in the running for the Media Director position, and i thought back on the hardships that Canada has been put through because of PEACE, and our subsequent triumphs with the help of our great friends an allies. Is this what has persuaded me to work for EDEN and this is why I'm deeply honored to serve their cause. To me EDEN represents freedom in this eWorld of ours, and its cause is a just one. This is also why im delighted to report this news to you today.

-EDEN Reclaims Manitoba-

It is with great pleasure that the EDEN command team announces that our effort to reclaim Manitoba has succeeded! A short while ago, EDEN and Brolliance forces reclaimed one of PEACE's few remaining Canadian regions, taken so cruelly from us earlier in this war. We would like to extend our greatest thanks to all who fought in both the USA's attack on Manitoba and Canada's attack on Nunavut, and well as the diversionary resistance wars. We saw strong and week, young and old citizens fighting with spectacular results. We took down a 400k wall in around 15 minutes under massive PEACE efforts to keep the wall up. The amount of damage was huge for a battle with no MPPs activated. The admins took note of this in their article but the recognition is not what makes this achievement great, it is the teamwork and the determination we put into this that makes this wonderful. This is an accomplishment we can ALL be proud of, and is further proof that nations united by brotherhood are greater then nations united by greed.

Oh yeah and also....

-North Korea is Back-

EDEN would also like to send its congratulations to the people of the newly free North Korea and the Polish soldiers who helped to free it. You have proved that regardless of size, a country can not be kept down for long if its citizens posses strength of will. Like Canada resurfaced quickly after it was conquered, North Korea is now back with all its wars closed and ready to participate in the international community once again. EDEN welcomes them back and looks forward to their further growth and success.

-The Allied Media Mogul Project-

As eUS citizen Daniel Hawkins stated in this article, there are a lot of problems facing a media mogul project. They are labor intensive and often unsuccessful. But EDEN is not one to give up. We never have been. In the near future you will be hearing about the changes to our projects very organization, which we will be implementing to hopefully create the eWorlds first successful MM project. Until those changes though, everyone is still encouraged to sign up for the project detailed here. Several EDEN countries have also been running their own media mogul projects, and you would all do well to check them out too.

-The EDEN Media Department is Recruiting-

We are looking for writers from various EDEN countries to assist in a variety of media related programs both in their respective countries and abroad. Applicants should send a PM to The Allied Media. Anyone interested should be a well known and respected writer in their country, and should have people in their government ready to vouch for them. Joining the EDEN team provides a friendly environment of prominent international citizens and a chance to get to know people outside your eCountry. Join us today!

Yes thats right, the Czech-Slovak war games are still going on. All citizens of allied countries are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to boost their rank and damage. Its quite fun!

One of the issues that has been expressed to me upon my joining of the EDEN team is the fact that many citizens do not actually know the members of said team. So for future references the EDEN high command structure goes like this:
