[DPP] CANDIDATURE FOR COUNTRY PRESIDENT

Respected Citizens of ePakistan,
My brothers and sisters,
My friends and allies,
My countrymen,
My kin,

AssalamoAlaikum,

The inevitable time has come. The time where I, Shin Gouki, have accepted to run as the Country President of ePakistan. I may not be the worthiest of candidates in my own perception, nor the most talented. However, I have accepted the suggestions of my peers who persuaded me into this. The upcoming Presidential Elections are going to be by far the most interesting Elections Up-To-Date. Primarily due to the higher number of candidates running for Country President. The elections are going to be dramatic and every vote counts. I thank everyone who has supported me and who stands by my side.



Who am I?

I am an ordinary citizen of ePakistan like everyone else. I have had the privelege to serve in various government positions. A brief biography and introduction about myself and my endeavours in eRepublik can be found here.

What to expect?

In real-life, I have made it a habit to never raise one's expectations to the point where I can not deliver. I am not here to make false claims or miraculous promises. If elected, I will dedicate my time to ePakistan and try my best to improve the quality of life for ePakistanis.



What can be done?

If elected, I, along with my cabinet, with the help of every citizen, will improve the activity level within ePakistan. We lack interaction and a communication gap exists among us which widens day by day. I propose a Skype-Group where all of us can communicate regarding ePakistan aswell as other aspects of life.

A BabyBoom has been a dream of mine ever since I started understanding the game. It is the hardest task in my own perception since a successful BabyBoom requires an extremely sustainable retention program. We will try out best at a BabyBoom. Let's hope for the best.

Strengthening organizations and national instituitions is something most Chief Executives emphasize upon and I will try to do the same. We'll try and strengthen the Armed Forces of ePakistan aswell as make the constituition concise and relevant to today's requirements.

A foreign affairs policy where we can benefit and continue to strengthen ePakistan. I will always endorse a foreign policy which benefits ePakistan.

Things I can't do.

I can not improve the economic module of the game. The economic module of the game is something beyond my reach. The admins of the game are solely responsible for improving economic conditions of Erepublik. We wil try to improve ePakistan's economic situation, however, I can't cast a spell and make everyone rich.

I can not increase the population of ePakistan instantly. A BabyBoom has always been discussed and debated on. We will work on a BabyBoom, however our attempt should not be mistaken for a miraculous increase in population overnight.

I can not "conquer" or take back all of ePakistan's regions and we can try to negotiate and use diplomacy as a tool, however, ePakistan's current military strength does not allow us to regain our regions.

Having said all of this, there is alot more I want to do for ePakistan but due to time constraints, I will continue with my campaign plans in another article.

My fellow ePakistanis I conclude this article by simply requesting for you to vote for me. I request you to vote for me if you believe I am a deserving candidate. I wish my opponents the best of luck in the upcoming elections and I look forward to a prosperous ePakistan regardless of who gets elected. I would also like to thank the members of the DPP who have continuously supported me and stand by my side. I thank you and I look forward to campaigning with you for these elections.
