[DP Press]:How to apply for Congress?

Hello there,

Today I thought of writing an article directed towards the newbies on "how to run for Congress elections"?

Follow these steps:

Step 1: Before applying for congress make sure you are in a territory owned by eIndia. If suppose the territory from where you applied for Congress is conquered re-apply before 24th to make sure your name is there! Keep checking your application once in a e-day.

Step 2: Hover your mouse on "Community" bar on the top right part of the page and click on "My party" option.


Step 3:

Your party page looks something like this.



Scroll down and stop at the "Congress" section on the party page:



Now click on "Run for Congress"



Step 4: A "drop down" menu arises below the section.

which looks like this:



You can write any article declaring that you are running for congress and enter the link in the box, otherwise just click on "Agree".

After clicking on "agree" the congress section appears something like this:



You can check out the others who have applied by clicking on "show proposed candidates":



Remember, Congress elections is not to elect any "individual" its an election conducted to see who is going to represent your party in the "congress" where the laws are "discussed and then passed". Also each congressman should be responsible and not pass "rogue" laws which will both affect his reputation and the party reputation. You are free to propose your "views" in front of the "Congress" and then gather opinion for the bill. Good luck for all the candidates applying for congress, also I personally request the parties to consider sending "newbies" who are "trained" enough into the congress.
