[DoEE] Winners and end of term giveaway!

Day 2,323, 20:04 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Ministry of Finance

Sadly the entries to the Journalist of the Month competition were sporadic, so I've decided to split and raise the prize between the three entrants! MarkTD wrote an excellent article on parties in the eUK, with some great visuals, a high degree of interest and an obvious depth of research. HeinrichTheThird compared the value of various quality weapons in his analysis of fight economics; the article proved extremely informative and sparked some interesting thoughts in mine and the public's mind, and again showed a high level of research. Lupurus entertained us with another chronicle of his pursuits and spendings in eRepublik, showing us the power some smart spending can have on the wellbeing of a new player.

I strongly advise you to check out these three new articles, as they show the skill and intelligence of new players we have coming through, and the perseverance of our citizens through these very trying times. We've been through a lot this month, carve-ups and wipes, mass exoduses from our country, a presidential resignation and denial to all but one of the games major and minor alliances. People like MarkTD, HeinrichTheThird and Lupurus are what keep this country running, so I've given them all 15 gold as thanks for their efforts. Give them a vote and a subscribe while you're at it!

I will be running another competition similar to this journalism one this month, with nominations lasting an entire month, so stay tuned for more details.

Massive giveaway!
At the end of the CP term, and with those aforementioned prizes already distributed, we at the Department of Education and Entertainment are sitting on 15000 CC with no place to go. Obviously spending this all would be somewhat erroneous and wasteful but I've decided that at least some of this budget should be put to good use. Thus, I will be giving away 40 Q5 Weapons and 400 Q5 Food to any citizens of eAustralia!

All you need to do is comment below with a link to your Auserepublik forum account and I will transfer the funds directly to you over the next five days. It's as simple as that! If you don't have a forum account yet, head over to the forums and sign up now! It's often bristling with activity and useful information on the doings of our government, and has heaps of helpful links to other resources, such as our new player library (still under reconstruction) and directions on how to get on IRC.

Thanks again eAustralia, and I'm looking forward to serving you again next term 😉

Once again I'd just like to remind any players with concerns or questions about the running of our government that the Ask Your Cabinet board is still running active, and there are a plethora of experienced players waiting to answer any question you may have.

And listen here, don't forget to Just DoEEt!

Minister of Entertainment and Education: James Rellori
Deputy of Entertainment and Education: Marjoo Umbri
