Today’s article will take a look at America’s valiant MU: The United States Armed Forces. The same set of questions was asked to both of the military representatives. In choosing representatives, I simply took anyone from the leadership.

1. What position do you hold in USAF?

dmjohnston- I am current eUSA Sec. Def.

rainy sunday - I am currently USAF-OC or Operations Chief.
2. What do you feel is the greatest strengths of the United States Armed Forces?

dmjohnston - One of the biggest strengths is our direct control by the President. USAF's damage is directed where the nation needs it 100% of the time. And with that comes our government funding that allows us to give the best supply levels around.

rainy sunday - Our collective potential. We have a very large group with diverse game knowledge, experience, and personal goals. The game is flawed. The players are flawed. But, we all have the potential to be victorious as a team and individually and have fun while doing it if we choose to.

3. What brought you to the United States Armed Forces?

dmjohnston - I spent a long time in the eUS military and when I came back to the game a little over a year ago, I wasn't comfortable with the situation there. A long time friend put me in touch with leadership of what was then the Air Force branch, and I've been in and around USAF ever since, excepting a short trip to Easy Company that was a lot of fun.

rainy sunday - I joined The Special Forces Branch of the USAF upon it’s founding in April, 2011

4. What do you see in the future for the United States Armed Forces?

dmjohnston- The future of the United States Armed Forces are looking great. rainy sunday has been amazing to work with and we've accomplished a lot and have plans in place to continue this forward motion. Bot supply requests are coming back soon(TM), more Joint Strikes are coming, activity, community, it's all things that are really important that we want to focus on.

rainy sunday - Continual improvement. A great deal of time has been invested in working on our technology and internal organization, that work is ongoing. I want to spend more time and see more time being invested in our community and “team building”. Post-merger, I’ve had opportunities to review former individual branch training and management routines and spoken with many members from all former individual branches to gain a better perspective of soldier expectations and previous experiences. Individual needs and expectations vary widely but one common is a desire for a stronger sense community. That isn’t something that can easily be manufactured or purchased and will take some effort and compromise from all who want it. We’ve enjoyed participating in recent joint strikes and look forward to more of that battlefield action along with future dedicated in-unit events.


5. What is something that most people don't know about the USAF that they should?

dmjohnston - I get the feeling that people don't always know what we're about or what it's like. There's a lot of calls for a training program for new players, but the people who say that haven't been through our Flight Training program, which is exactly that. Before they make suggestions to improve or change USAF, they should experience USAF in its fulness.

rainy sunday - I hope that it is already widely understood but it definitely should be known that the USAF serves at the behest of the US President and their appointed National Security Council Director and members. While I strongly encourage anyone who chooses politics to pursue that path and want our members to keep informed politically, we are not a partisan entity and are wholly committed to our purpose, to provide damage as directed by the United States’ duly elected leader.

6. What tools are in place to help new players grow in the USAF?

dmjohnston - As I mentioned in the last question, Flight Training is a great program run by great people that really care about our new players. We have an amazing Division Chief in charge of Division 1, The Original Hawkie. The people we have chosen for these positions was because they care about the people they work with and help them do better. We also encourage all our new members to take part in the various Exec and party programs that are out there for new players, especially BU2SU.

rainy sunday - (http://tinyurl.com/FlightTrainingApp) Flight Training is our entry-level branch to welcome eUS Division 1 players into the USAF and newest members to the greater Game community. We’ve recently unveiled a new program, (http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/2410762/1/20) DoDSEP, designed to support our lower Division members in accelerating their strength training upgrades.
