[DoD] Announcement: New USAF Program

Day 2,407, 22:08 Published in USA USA by USA Department of Defense

The Department of Defense and United States Armed Forces senior leadership have been working over the last few days on a new initiative designed to assist new players in early strength building. It is the belief of the DoD that effective new citizens should focus on upgrading their training grounds and holding fights to minimize early leveling.

In the current divisional system of combat, while the divisions have been restructured, holding is still the most effective way to make yourself more potent on the battlefield down the line. However, in a game designed around combat, months of holding can make new players weary and leave the game.

The Department of Defense Strength Enhancement Program (DoDSEP) is designed to speed up the process of upgrading free training grounds for new USAF troops who work in USAF communes. Through small earnings on a daily basis, accounted for by USAF, amounting to a larger disbursement on a bi-weekly interval, our goal is to cut the time to full Free Training Ground upgrade, ideally by 20%.

DoDSEP will be made a reality by the following changes to USAF policy, effective July 1st:
1. D1 supply drops will be reduced from 6 tanks per drop to 4 per drop.
2. D2 supply drops for soldiers under level 45 will also be reduced from 6 tanks per drop to 4 per drop.
3. D2 soldiers with over 35k Q7 hit will retain their “Strong” status and increased drops regardless of level.
Note: These reductions will encourage more holding and also help to offset the costs of DoDSEP.
4. During their first supply request each day, soldiers under level 45 will automatically earn a 0.22 gold credit to be deposited in a USAF held account.
5. After 2 weeks time, soldiers who have requested supplies (and DoDSEP funding, which happens automatically on their first request of the day) on at least 70% of days will receive a lump sum of all their earnings from the prior two weeks.

These lump sum payments with an activity threshold will drive down the overall cost of the program, while providing vital gold to the members of USAF to expedite their training enhancement and make them stronger on the battlefield.

Soldiers who combine DoDSEP with BU2SU will be particularly well prepared for the Battlefield, and we encourage soldiers to use all available programs to increase their strength. We also remind all participating soldiers to only purchase training grounds upgrades during sales (usually occurring on the first Tuesday of each month) and to always fully upgrade their Free Training Ground before upgrading any others. Additionally, gold should not be spent on higher quality training grounds while saving for upgrades.

This is the DoD reminding you to play smart, save gold, and fight harder.

Keep up the fire.
