Mood Music: Let it Go

I've been back to the game for a while now. As I've mentioned in previous articles, I stayed out of politics for a very long time. I was happy living in the military realm.

When Hale26 convinced me to join WTP, I noticed the difference there from other parties I had dabbled in immediately. I was met with a newb-friendly, newb-centric attitude that truly lived by its name, with a focus on the People, and ensuring their voice is heard.

Now that I've spent these last 6 months or so here, I think it's time to finally do my part to give back to the party I've grown to like. Maybe love, but let's not get too crazy.

What does a month of DMJ as Party President look like?

1. Parties



I've always been a huge advocate of IRC events. I think IRC is a huge component of a successful social group within eRep. Scavenger hunts, trivia, the stuff that used to happen all the time back in the day, we need to see more of it.

2. Naps



Everyone knows that a really good party deserves a really good nap. DMJ supports napping. That's all you need to know.

3. Babies!



Ok, so it's just one baby. Every week, I'll be running a "Caption DMJ's Baby" contest. Best caption wins Glory. And tanks. But mostly GLORY!

4. Inter-Party Relations



I want to work with the other PPs to really boost our overall activity. Get some contests going, bring back the voting contests to assist with out of game recruiting. We do not swim alone in eRep, nor should we. We may not always see eye to eye politically, but all of us are out to do the best we can for this eNation.

5. More Tom Hanksimals than Ever Before



Tom Hanks. He's a lot of animals. That's not going to change. I want to communicate with the People, and that means articles. About the party, about our Congress Critters, about issues. All of it. And Tom will be there to help along the way.

So what's all this really mean?

It means DMJ is here, so click my name on that ballot and prepare for a wild ride.
