Mood Music: What if my country is being wiped?


For players who might not be familiar with the tax mechanism, when a country has occupied regions, a portion of their tax revenue goes to their occupier. During a full wipe, a country loses 80% of it's tax revenue to the occupying country or countries. To combat this, a country facing occupation will reduce their tax rates to reduce the amount of money their occupier will receive. While this hurts the occupier, it also hurts that country, since they are unable to build funds as quickly to assist in regaining their freedom.

With this proposal, Spain has shown that they are preparing for the long occupation they see as imminent.
