I am finally back from Washington DC. 13 hour drives really take a lot out of you, so I'll keep this article nice and short.

I'm running for president here are my general thoughts:

--I openly welcome any citizens who want a chance at civil service to rotate into the cabinet if so desired. If you were in government before or not, it does not matter to me. Some positions will stay the same, but in particular, I am looking for someone to be Minister of Defense.



--As I've said before, signing alliances is for this term to get more involved in international affairs will do us well. We've had time to ourselves to gain a grasp on the physical map, and now it's time to be a little more ambitious. We're a resilient state, and though we've had a lot thrown at us, we've got a handful of good people with a wealth of experience that shouldn't be wasted on merely self preservation.

As much as a priority our own survival will always be, given our size, in these times of peace, we finally have time to commit resources into forging strong diplomatic ties with others. So funding some MPPs is an idea floating around in my head that's probably going to happen. I have enough to fund two, and other members of government may do so too, I believe.



--Regardless of who wins the election, contests are a fun idea. I have my own wacky ideas for what would be a fun contest and also organizable, but that is for me to know and you to find out. (Spoiler alert: Comment contests. Lots of them. I have lots of money to burn 😛)
