Als Partijvoorzitter van Democratisch Nederland wordt het tijd om de stilte te doorbreken over de zaak-Kimberly McCullouch, en de aankomende verkiezingen.

Aangezien de ex-CP op de blacklist zal worden geplaatst en daarmee officieel schuldig is bevonden, is dit het juiste moment om te reageren.

Op 28 januari jl. heeft het Congres onze Landspresident, Kimberly McCullouch, afgezet omdat zij heeft gelogen tegen datzelfde Congres. Hiermee heeft het Congres een duidelijk signaal afgegeven.

Vele ministers, waaronder ikzelf, waren voordien al afgetreden. Binnen DemNL is meteen een discussie gestart waarin McCullouch is gevraagd om te reageren op de beschuldigingen, maar tot op heden heeft zij dit nagelaten. Hoewel alle betrokken DemNL-leden het ten zeerste betreuren om zonder hoor en wederhoor in actie te moeten komen, is besloten haar te vragen onze partij te verlaten. Op de meest verachtelijke wijze heeft McCullouch de waarden van onze partij en haar partijgenoten verraden, en belangrijker, ons land in de kou laten staan.



Democratisch Nederland beschouwt Kimberly McCullouch dan ook niet langer als lid, ook al blijft zij ingame bij de partij.

Hoewel DemNL natuurlijk niet verantwoordelijk is of kan worden gehouden voor de acties van dit voormalige partijlid, wil ik toch, namens mijzelf en de partij, excuses aanbieden aan eNederland voor de hele ontstane situatie.

CP-verkiezingen
Inmiddels is de campagne voor de aankomende Landspresidentverkiezingen volop losgebarsten. Hoewel alle bestaande partijen in het verleden wel eens mot hebben gehad, betreur ik de huidige situatie, waarin leden van de DPP en GPN het ene na het andere bericht de media in slingeren.



Zelf heb ik menige campagne meegemaakt en gevoerd, maar een sfeer zoals deze heb ik zelden meegemaakt. Ik roep alle partijen dan ook op om dit nutteloze geruzie te staken, en het doel wat beide campagnes voor ogen staat in zicht te houden: verbetering van de omstandigheden in ons mooie land.

Tot zover dit artikel. Debat en reacties stellen we natuurlijk altijd op prijs, maar ik wil iedereen vragen de onderstaande commentaarsectie niet te gebruiken om de huidige campagne voort te zetten. Bij voorbaat dank!

Fellow citizens!

As Party President of Democratisch Nederland, I feel the time has come to break the silence on two issues: the Kimberly McCullouch-case and the upcoming elections.

Kimberly McCullouch
Seeing that the former CP will be blacklisted shortly, confirming her guilt, the right moment for a reaction has come.

Last Monday, on January 28, Congress impeached our Country President, Kimberly McCullouch, for having lied to our Congress. Our Congress thus gave a clear signal.

Many ministers, including myself, had resigned beforehand. Internally, DemNL immediately started a debate asking McCullouch to discuss the charges, but sadly, she has not made any statemment whatsoever. Although all involved DemNL members regret having to come into action without hearing all sides, we have decided to ask her to leave our party. In a most disgusting way, McCullouch has betrayed our party's values and her fellow members, and more importantly, our country.



Because of this, Democratisch Nederland no longer considers Kimberly Mcullouch a member, even if she remains in the party in-game.

Although DemNL is not and cannot be held accountable for the actions of this former party member, I do want to apologize, on my own and my party's behalf, for the whole situation.

CP elections
Meanwhile, the campaign for the next Country Presidential elections has erupted. Of course, all existing parties have had their respective difficulties with one another, but I deeply regret the current situation, in which members from both the DPP and GPN are flinging article after article into the newspapers.



I have seen, and participated in, many a campaign, but an atmosphere like this I have seldomly witnessed. I therefore call on all parties to stop this pointless bickering, and to start progressing the ideas expressed in both campaigns: improving the conditions in our beloved country.
