Day 2,489, 11:55 Published in Netherlands Finland by Walhallah

Dear Soldiers,

I want to take this moment to express my thanks to all of you. We fought like lions in the war against eNorway. The amount of battles I saw with DAF people in the top 5 or taking the righteous Battle Hero reward cannot be counted. We should all be proud of that!

Now, a lot has happened this week in the landscape of eDutch MU's, as many of you have noticed. Without getting into details, this poses a challenge for our Unit as well. We have seen an impressive influx of people in our Unit, strong soldiers with a deep-rooted motivation to fight for our country, many of them with great strength and experience. I want to say to all of them 'be welcome'. However, our Unit is one in progress, transition even. Not everything is in place, altho we made great steps in recent weeks/months. So to our current and new members I want to say, feel free to step forward if you see a role for yourself, or if we are missing something. We have a team standing by and are discussing our organisation daily.

One of the recent improvements is increased focus on new players. We have created a regiment 1 where they all enter our MU. They will then be contacted by no-one less than ElGorro himself, to avatar up and be active. When ElGorro thinks a soldier is ready (avatared up and active enough) he will be promoted to one of the regiments for Division 1 players. upon arrival to these regiments, they will be contacted again by the regiment Captain with further tips and tricks and communication. This way we put maximum effort in retaining and educating new players, as they are our future.

A special attention also goes out to Regiment 5, which is home to our Division 2 players. D2 is currently recognised as our weak spot. This week saw the promotion of El Trench and LeoVinciDa which will give a great boost to D2. Nontheless, we wil need more players to be made ready for D2. Currently a league of D1 players is steaming up, so this is a good thing. But it takes time.

Division 3 and 4 in the already illustrious 6th Regiment get special attention on their level. We are currently discussing under supervision of Weekstrom what the needs of these players are, so we can make some steps and create a better home for this precious group.

In the meantime, we have an active day-to-day management team comprised of all Commanders and Captains that are permanently discussing everyting about the MU.

Soldiers, we came a long way. There are still steps to be made, so if you want to contribute to our MU and make it live up to the expectations, step up and join in!
