Here's my recap on every Irish CP I've witnessed, if you're really slow then ye I'm CT aka Womb Raider


1. Patton

My Viewpoint
Was my debut in eRepublik and this presidency did little for my retention. Had I not dropped out of college and have too much free time on my hands I would of easily lost interest and left. The only thing I can recall from this term was the Government begging the UK to invade and Patton disappearing for two weeks because he went on a cruise.
2. Moomoohead

My Viewpoint
From what the older players were saying at that time, it was the most exciting term at that time. We got Poland into America, we were invaded by the United Kingdom, we took Northern Ireland & got a high grain region. I would later learn that Irishbhoy did all the work & JSK (MoFA at the time) was invited into an EDEN command channel to discuss the land bridge…and all he did was talk about a BH he’d won a few hours earlier ;_;

My Viewpoint
Can’t remember much, it was a quite month. Recall a lot of people complaining about boredom and a few people in the private Dail pushing to hit NI. Think it ended in controversy because I remember Nogin & moo the following month claiming the bank was during this term.
5. Nogin The Nog

My Viewpoint
We took Northern Ireland thanks to Croatia and talked to EDEN a little bit…that was pretty much it. Nothing got robbed which was ground breaking considering the past few terms and I remember it was my third consecutive month with Ops in #ireland. Those were the days ;_;
6. King Connell

My Viewpoint
Connell had a breakdown with all the pressure the CP brings and so Irishbhoy took over. We took Northern Ireland & Wales and were bosses. ‘Twas an enjoyable term in which I realized the ICA was stronger than the IDF lololol.
7. Orangejuicemmm

My Viewpoint
The biggest butthurt impeachment in the world was organised and cast immediately after the elections because OJ had Irishbhoy as his Minister of Defence. Idiotic seen as how Irishbhoy had organised and delivered the Land Swap a few months ago and orchestrated the Irish offensive into the UK the month previous.
Oj was impeached, in his own butthurt lead a civil war resulting in the IDF losing most of their companies and the country nearly losing a high grain region.
Moo took over, appointed Nith as his MoD and we got wiped for the very first time. Irishbhoy made a nice comic about it which you can read here

My Viewpoint
It was such a snorefest, Gormley double checked everything he did with congress and nothing was done. Considering this was during V3 when the game was really boring this type of term was not what the people of eIreland needed.

My Viewpoint
Biggest winning % to date. We started the New Year with a breath of fresh air, I employed the greatest cabinet to date and I didn’t even get impeached for making Irishbhoy my MoFA. Some fake logs emerged at the beginning of my term created by a few people who were (and still are) jealous of me but I still managed to serve one of the best terms to date, to quote the wiki

Without getting ahead of ourselves, it has to be said that by the time February would roll around, CelticTiger211 would be discussed as a possible candidate for "best Irish CP ever". Perhaps the largest reason for this was the creation of the Irish Army. (You can read the detailed announcement here). The Irish Army was a revolution. This was because before the wipe of Ireland by the UK, Ireland had been subject to two military organizations that were less than co-operative. The IDF (Irish Defence Force) and the ICA (Irish Citizens Army) were, collectively: outdated, scandalous, and divided. They would often issue contradictory orders, and in each organizations inadvertent struggle for power and influence, they would often work more against Ireland than for it. The Irish Army took the great commitment and communication of the ICA, and matched it with the official and professional nature of the IDF. The effect would prove dramatic. Within weeks of its creation the Irish Army was becoming recognized world round for their professional and effective impact on the battlefield.”
I left the game for a while and returned around July 2011 a quick summary of the July 2011 – November 2011 Presidents.

President: Chance Harrison
Remarks: Over arrogant, lazy and self-obsessed. He didn’t communicate with the people of Ireland, exaggerated the little work that he did greatly and failed to respond to fair criticism reasonably. One of the worst in my opinion.

Remarks: Greatest President & best term to date but his trolling ability suffered as a result.

Remarks: Tried hard but didn’t do that well.

Remarks: Was expecting him to be completely crap, especially when I read about his MoD or lack of at the start of the term. Gave us loads of MPPs and finished his term with an epic finale. Well done sir!
I would like to ask all old players to publish a recap of your experiences since joining eRepublik, it seems like all the old players do now is moan and whine about current affairs (mainly Grainne).
