Greetings CPF and eCanada! It seems like my weekly update has come 5 days too late! Well, as they say, late is better than never. There are some important announcement I have to make today, so let's get to it!

CP Election Results

I'm not sure anyone but Rolo himself is completely satisfied with the results of the elections that happened 6 days ago. Of course most of the fault for this lies on Rylde making a bit of a careless mistake, but the CPF has some share of the blame in that we could not field a qualified candidate for CP. In our Primary we chose to not endorse any candidate and have a "free vote". Based on the election, I am making the following changes to the CP Primary Election Process:

Country President:

-Interest must be expressed to the Party President or publicly in the form of a newspaper article or other means by the 29th for members, the 30th for nonmembers
-Primary held on the 29th to determine whether or not the CPF will endorse one of its own or another candidate
-Full Primary held on the 30th if we vote for another party’s candidate in the prior primary
-Primary Winner becomes official nominee.
-Like the Party President elections, a second runoff vote will occur if no candidate secures a majority
-Voting to not endorse any candidate and to have a free vote will be an option

That's right, from now on there will not be such a thing as a free vote. If the CPF is truly unsatisfied with all candidates, I will decide on the final approach on nominations and whether or not to endorse.



New Moose Calls

For 99% of the CPF, if you haven't done so already, check your inboxes! You should have received your new Moose Call for the next few weeks. If you don't have one, then you either are new since when I sent them, or you still aren't friends with me! I send out the requests well in advance, so there is no excuse!

PP Elections

Normally the Primary would have ended today, and would have begun yesterday, but no one even said anything about wanting to run for PP, therefore there is no need for a Primary, and I will get to be your PP for another month! Got Moose?

A Tidbit on the War

Right now it is imperative that everyone follow their daily orders and fight for allies if need be, but save up your energy bars and bazookas for when we make a push against Spain to free our regions.

Cabinet Changes

A new term means a (slightly) new cabinet. I intend to keep everyone I currently have, but I am replacing three individuals. Wilhelm Gunter will have to be replaced, sadly, because he is done with the game. Randall Flagg 1999 will be leaving the cabinet due to his recent decision to try out MOO, and finally stpolar is being removed from his position as 2nd Vice Party President, since this is a rotational monthly position. I would like to replace him with TheyCallMeBugs, if he accepts my offer.
