Dear Citizens,
It has been a few days since the elections, and that's why a little update is coming your way! This is not an update of each ministry, that update will come in a few days from now. This update will tell you all about the changes I made in my plans due to the circumstances in the eWorld.
* The Transparency program has no changes in it, though as I stated before you can't expect an update from every ministry every week, it will be one main update article where all ministries will tell what they have done.
* On the idea of the Ministry of Recruitment and Coaching contacting every new citizen for feedback, unfortunately no new citizen has responded yet on our messages, this is very worrisome, we will continue sending messages to the citizens but we are also brainstorming on new ideas to get new people in our community.
* Now the war with Asgard was long done when I was elected, I said in my plans that the MoD would search alternatives to give our strong citizens something to do, now the reset of the determination was one thing of course. But after that we have decided not to organize any training war or something related to that, some may know that the eWorld is going to shift any time soon and that's why we have decided to wait with any military activity.
* The encouragement of media activity is still up, although I haven't seen many events in the media, we haven't stopped trying. I have contacted Tim Veltkamp and asked him to again start with his Trout series, unfortunately we don't have the passwords of the org due to the shifting of the key keepers, when we got the password we will restart the Trout series!
* The Foreign Affairs team is working on our NSPP relations and is also keeping an eye on the eWorld with the shift of alliances coming closer.
* And my last point 'Ask the Government' is now going to start! I'll give more information below.

No war, i guess it allows people to save some cc/g for other purposes and ir for the shift in alliances which will bring war with them fo sure.
what are the parameters that indicate "aa new citizen". Does this invlude players 1-4 months old?
The Ministry of Recruitment and Coaching is sending messages out to people who just joined eRepublik and than I really mean just joined.
Well, one question atm then; If we had a planned determination bonus reset; Why isn't there a RW sponsored and started yet? It could have started about 12 hours ago already. Or is there no deal and are we just totally occupied again/do we need to pay it all ourselves?

I could a while back but as no information was given i didn't to prevent 1k loss. And as I was off to work after that i wasn't able anymore. All the more reseon to plan and communicate ahead. Perhaps not here but at least within a MU....
It would be bad monetary policy to send people 1k CC to support a RW and have them grab a free 5g medal with it. It would cause possible 'vriendjespolitiek' concerns imo.
We need to be careful with announcing the support of these RW's before we know if Poland is ready. Remember last month? We were starting the RW before they communicate to their soldiers to not fight against us. So they did and we wasted 10k.
Why should we sponsor people to support this RW? You get a medal if you support it. You are free to support it. You don't have to. If you don't want to, there will be others who will support this RW for their own benefits.
sorry Spir tus, but i have to disagree. If you plan a reset you also discuss how it will go. Can be rather simple; You wipe us after which we free eNL and nNL. Can never be a surprise or not supported by Poland. It simply looks like ad-hoc management...
@garmr; You could have a point with friends policies. There must be a solution for that still. Simply things like the first that support it will get refunded will do as its up to players then to be among the first. There is no way to deny someone supporting.
I hope it will go like this in the future. But I won't take the risk right now because of what happened last month. Every mistake Poland makes in this deal, will be our responsibility. So we take it easy till both countries automatically act according to the treaty.
When will the war start to conquer Norway?
As a training war that could be nice. Not again as a real one I hope as every time we attack them (the last two times that is) its a useless event for eNL as it gains us nothing and only costs a lot of resources. Not to mention friendship.
As the latter is lost for a great deal I'd say a fun war will be out of the question unless gov policies and attitude towards persons change.
Apart from that; eNOO is busy with being concurred due to a rent deal with eRUS so not a real option from that perspective as well. Perhaps we can try eBE again. That's been a while and although last time didn't go that well could be an option again as we are related via the NSPP...
