[CP] Week 2 Report

Bonjour Mesdames et Messieurs,

Welcome to week two of the term, we are almost halfway done and still have much more to complete. We hope you are all boding well as we all ease back into our working schedules.

The first week was fairly important setting up the cabinet, receiving messages of congratulations from other Presidents and establishing foreign relations with other countries. We have also been busy at work, our progress report can be found below-




Home Regions

Over the past week, we have been negotiating with Slovenia trying to obtain at least one region back. Unfortunately, the first time, we were unsuccessful in our attempts and the talks with Slovenia were closed. Monsieur Guillontine re-opened the talks and now Slovenia are looking at giving back one region if we raise the work taxes to 10%. I personally think that it is definitely worth it if it means we will finally have a congress, economy, and we can open up immigration again. Much better than no sustainable solution to holding a region.

Taskforce

Immediately after I was elected, I tasked Sisk with creating a taskforce that would act as our congress. The taskforce is made up of 2 members from the 5 parties, that way it is equal. The taskforce was already been in deep discussion on whether or not to give Root our Educational org as it has not been put to use in the past few terms. The result was a no, the results can be found here

MU Supplies

We have commenced sending out Q7 weapons to military units, supplying a maximum of 200 weapons a week. The SNA has also commenced it’s communes and salaries start at 60 CHF which can buy you 10 Q7 weapons. Message Uros012 for more info.
