[CP] Statement on the China NAP/NE!

Day 2,211, 20:57 Published in Pakistan Pakistan by Arfan-Khan

Dear citizens of ePakistan and Friends,

There have been a flurry of articles over the last 24 hours that have relayed a wide array of sentiments regarding China's recent political movements.

As your CP and a firm believer in the power and strength of this great country, I am greatly inspired by the shouts of patriotism and passion for ePakistan. I believe it's my duty to share the governments perspective on these recent developments, in the hope of reassuring you and maintaining our unity as a country.

Firstly it's important to make it clear that we have an NAP with eChina, that was developed as a part of our strategy to have strong friends with whom we share mutual interests. Many of you will not have been in ePakistan during some of the darkest periods in our history, when the whole nation was almost wiped off the face of the game as a consequence of bitter disagreements within the country and perilous enemies outside. For those who lived through this, you will share the view that this must never happen again, and only through strong diplomacy, good external relations and well considered battles can we ensure this.

At this time, I am asking for unity as one nation and one people. I am asking that you support our multifaceted strategy of diplomacy and alliance building as well as well considered wars. I am asking you NOT to fight against China, as it is not a fight that will benefit this great nation at this time.

There are some players in our country who are quick to shout for war, and scream for us to fight with anyone and everyone who surrounds our borders. We all love to fight in this game, but there is a time and a place to fight and a time to build relationships. Fights without purpose and strategy simply burn gold, they do not win territories. I ask for your support in taking a more balanced and pragmatic approach to the rebuilding of our nation. Fighting wars against friends, that will be long and costly, is not the right path forwards.

Most of the players who are calling for the NAP to be broken and for us to keep our regions weren't around when things were tough.

Over the last year and a half ePakistan has been working on building better relations with eChina and other nations across the eWorld. This strategy will continue and over time will see a stronger, bolder, more confident, unified ePakistan resuming sits rightful place on the world stage.

There are several concerns Pakistanis have regarding this whole matter, not least of which are the loss of sovereignty and the ability control our own destiny, and we the government know this. But winning is not just about swiping your credits cards and tanking. It is about choosing who we should work closely with and who we should work passionately against. When we do this well, the game is at its most exciting.

Join me in building a great Pakistan.

Pride, Power, Pakistan!
