[CP] Question Time

Day 3,128, 02:26 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by 10 Downing Street

Politically neutral to a Congress-approved degree

This article is your chance to send questions to me and the government, asking us pretty much anything you like. But before we get into that, a quick update on the Training Wars.

Training Wars
All the pieces are in place to end the Training Wars with USA and France. It took a little longer than I’d hoped, which is down to my inexperience and not being on top of what button-pressing instructions I needed to send in the first couple of days of this term. My apologies for that.

But everything is in place now. USA are no longer our Natural Enemy (NE) and we have agreed peace deals with both France and USA.

So now it’s a matter of taking back our regions. MoD will lead the way on this - please follow their instructions and daily orders to get our regions back as quickly as we can. In particular, please do not start any RWs without talking to MoD first. When too many RWs are open we split our damage too much and end up losing some of them. The plan is to do one region at a time, moving on to the next one straight away. Have a word with MoD if there’s anything more you need to know.

It’s time to stop fighting the Americans (and French)

CP Question Time
Right, on to the main point of this article - CP Question Time.

I promised regular CPQTs in my election manifesto, and this is the first one.

The premise is simple: you ask me questions. I’ll answer them. It really is as simple as that. Just ask your questions in the comments section on this article. I’ll go through them all, combine any that are essentially the same, and then answer them in a separate article.

Your questions can be on anything you like; preferably the government and government policy, but - frankly - ask what you want. If I can answer it, I will.

To start off, I'll put a completely arbitrary time limit of ... say ... 48 hours for you to get your questions in. You know ... two days. Sound OK?

But hold on a moment! This usually happens on IRC! Why isn’t this on IRC? I like IRC 🙁 IRC! IRC! Etc etc
Good question (if that was, indeed, a question). There are two reasons why I’m not doing CPQT on IRC this time:

.1. Only a tiny number of eUK citizens use IRC. I’ve said all along that this government will be inclusive, so running CPQT on a platform hardly anyone uses doesn't make sense.

.2. This way gives me time to go and get info from government departments if I need to, allowing me to provide better, more informative answers. I wouldn’t be able to do that in an hour-long IRC session.

Get on with it…
There’s nothing left to say really. I look forward to reading and answering your questions.

This is a paid advert. It cost five gold, which has gone to the country accounts. If you would like to help lower the tone of 10 Downing Street and turn it into a tawdry rag advertise here, send the five gold and a link to an image no larger than 600px wide by 250px high. You advert will appear in one CP article. Editorial standards apply (although, frankly, they’re not set very high) and the CP (i.e. me) reserves the right to laugh at you and refuse to show your advert. I’ll give you your money back though - nobody likes a CP who nicks monies.
