[CP] Oh lookie, my last day

Yep, that means you lot no longer have to put up with me in charge 😛


I've already spoken about the airstrike numerous times, so we'll try and not go there too much. What I will say is that despite the nay-sayers and people who were against both me and the airstrike, the only reason we managed a congress this month was because of that.

Australia was pretty much on the brink of having its life support machine turned off - we prevented that. At one point this month, around the time of the airstrike, there were 3 pages of news. Three. That is at least 21 articles in Australian media. That is something I have not seen in my time of being here. That was exciting. People have returned to Aus, the media is still active, people are actually wanting to get involved and do things now. It wasn't like that a month ago. We didn't just achieve an airstrike, a region and a congress, but we increased activity massively. Australian isn't dead.

Whilst there were many highs and about as many lows, I can come out of my term saying I did the right thing and don't regret a single part of it. I've helped eAus to the absolute best of my abilities and I hope we continue pushing forward. We've had some incredible help from allies, help which some of you probably aren't aware of. If it wasn't for our allies, we would have lost Jizan on the first RW. Remember Aussies, our friends fought hard for us this month, we all need to return the favour.



There's a few more thank you's I need to do:

- LETO and Asteria for bringing damage our way; those who fought in the first Jizan RW which was touch and go for the first few rounds and shouted our battle, and those who fought for us in the other RW's that popped up
- those who gave up their own cash for combat orders (Infowars, Fidel Castro and the MU GaMa, and Montenegro - here's lookin' at you)
- Greece (Dmesk, you're one of the nicest guys I've come across on eRep and the amount of time you spent helping me out was brilliant) and Saudi Arabia for so quickly sorting a region for us
- My entire cabinet, for being active and helpful and doing their jobs damn well
- The people who voted for me in the first place!
- The people who publicly slated me for the airstrike and then put their names down for congress, you made me do lots of "lol's"
- The "ADF chatbox gang" for doing that one hour countdown with me, that was a lot of fun
- Infowars for paying for an MPP with Iran, 10k is a lot of cash
- My parents, for having "done the nasty" 23 years and 7 months ago, thus giving me the opportunity to be CP in a RPG browser game.

I feel like I've forgotten someone. I hope I haven't 🙁



So, what's been going on in the past few weeks? We renewed a few of our MPP's - Serbia, Taiwan, Romania, Greece and Hungary, as well as gaining an MPP with Iran. We declared a natural enemy on Indonesia a total of three times - just to delay them retaking WA a little longer. We moved some money (yay money!) and we accepted a few people into Aus, some new faces and some old. Look, progress! 😮

I'm sure Sherlock will do a fantastic job as CP. I'm looking forward to carrying on with my roles in ADF and JDS \o/
