Dear citizens of the Netherlands,

I wanted to make you aware of the current situation, one of which the proud soldiers of the Netherlands will soon be an important and direct part of. For some weeks our North Sea Protection Pact allies Germany and the United Kingdom have been in conflict with the enemy alliance Asgard in Scandinavia. In accordance with these allies and in support of the NSPP we have decided to declare war on Norway, therefore opening an additional front in Scandinavia and easing the pressure on our allies. We hope it'll be a successful campaign, where both our nation and our allies can thrive in.

More details, including supplies and other instructions, will follow. We will stay in touch with you, the Dutch citizens, in this important step for the Netherlands on the international stage and battlefield.

Nowadays we are officially aligned with the nations in conflict currently. There's not necessarily something in it for us (if you intend to forget the war, activity, international recognition, conquests with more tax etc etc etc)
