It’s been a mostly quiet couple of days, though there are a few things I need to bring to your attention today.
As I said last time, I’m going to steal somebody else’s style for these announcements, simply because I’ve always thought it’s the most simple and easy to understand; so thanks to Addy Lawrence for this!
ON THE NHS

ON CABINET…
Cabinet has continued very strongly since I last spoke to you. By the time you get my next update each minister should have a report ready for you to see what they’ve been up to.
ON USING ORGANISATIONS TO MAKE MONEY
Congress has begun donating small amounts of money into some of our previously unused national organisations, to allow us to utilize them on the monetary market. Each org we can activate helps increase our daily income, which has needed a boost since the introduction of Q7 factories. We have the potential to more than double our income using these organisations, and so I and Carlini8 the MoF would like to thank congress for their assistance in this.
ON MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS APPRENTICES
The MoFA under Kravenn has a new ambassador / apprentice program this month. It involved moving around several countries, getting to know important figures from them, and interviewing them; enriching the UK community by publishing the articles, helping more people get to know our foreign counterparts, while also giving the apprentice both experience and foreign contacts, both much needed for government work. The apprentice program is open to anybody that volunteers, so have a look HERE if this interests you.
ON THE POLITICAL PARTY SUMMIT…
My VP Ergo Deus came up with the idea of a Party Summit for all UK parties, as I mentioned in my last report. I’m mentioning it here again to make sure people know about it and remember to appear on Sunday afternoon. We have plenty of issues to discuss and attempt to solve, but only if people are willing to participate can we succeed.
ON IRELAND…
It’s been a bit of a strange turn of events on the battlefield; I advised the Irish CP that his best opportunity to take back his regions would be via MPP battle- the EDEN support during our night time and their prime time was more than enough to see them right in the past, it should be again. Unfortunately they opted to RW the regions instead, and were unsuccessful.
Meanwhile the MPP battles raged on, and we; despite setting orders elsewhere and informing allies we wanted to lose, won the Mayo battle. I then immediately attacked Cork to ensure a full night for Ireland to beat us there and regain initiative, but even there we’re doing far better than we should and the result is not yet certain.
All the while I’ve been trying to get peace passed; our congress successfully removed Ireland as Natural Enemy, in part to lose the extra 10% damage, and in part because this is the first step in proposing peace. Unfortunately, Ireland rejected their own No NE proposal, and are currently rejecting the second attempt too. The UK is doing everything it can to end the war without wiping Ireland; unfortunately they’re making it very difficult for us!
I’ll update you as and when I get more information.

Fixed, and fixed the Kravenn article one too, that one also said malicious.
I feel you with the Irish war, last time I was president I had a hard time making peace with Mexico due to a number of factors that mirror your situation.
The Irish government have been waiting nearly a week to discover the UK's plans regarding the Treaty. Meaning we had to hold-fire and defer much of the allied support coming our way to ensure the regions belonging to the UK under the Treaty stayed in their possession. Asking us to prioritise Mayo then Cork at such short notice when EDEN are heavily involved in Albania and China..? And if you requested your allies "cease fire" they're either not listening or are carrying on regardless.
I was in constant contact with your CP NFM, as was Kravenn.
Reading what Kravenn said, you certainly had plenty of warning that support would be needed.
As for allies still fighting there, yeah- we can't control them anymore than anyone else can, all I can do is reiterate to them that we don't want to win it.
IMO some of the people currently fighting for the UK want to make sure we dont sign a peace deal.
I for one want to see a deal.

WHAT ORGANISATIONS? Why set them up if they weren't going to be used? Or were they used in the past and you mean defunct/dormant rather than previously unused?
This is the sort of information that should be given to the rank and file, instead of being hidden away on forums and IRC. Also more people would link if there were a direct link on the toolbar.

They are Orgs that were dormant due to the fact we didn't have access and there was ultimately no use for them. They are now being used to earn money for the UK via the MM by our wizard MoF Carlini.
This isn't being kept under wraps. Hence the public proposals and topic in Public Discussion.
Organisations were set up long before I started playing the game. When I started you couldn't make them anymore! How they then became national orgs are way past my knowledge! History is not my thing, making money now is and I am releasing articles via the BoE tracking our finances.

Quite a while ago Admin asked the Gov for a list of organizations which it would like to assign "National Org" status. These orgs were protected from being destroyed when Admin decided to remove Organizations from the game.
The UK has many National Orgs, most of them are empty and unused because we only needed 3-4 to administer the government. Now Carlini8 is using multiple orgs for Monetary Market trading so we need to donate a small amount of CC into them to let us get additional funds in.
